Just like all the other walking tours, I've encountered, this was a wonderful experience. It was easy to spot the meeting place. I did both the Sydney Sights Free Tour and the Rocks at 6pm Free Tour led by Justine and Ross, respectively. The tours really took us around Sydney (the touristy spots and more!). Our guides showed us places... More

This tour commences at 1030 and 1430 just beside the town hall on Georges Street. This tour was given by Lionel who gave an excellent description and history of the various buildings and districts throughout Sydney. This tour is a must if visiting Sydney and is far more informative than the hop on-hop off tour bus. As with these "I'm... More

We joined this tour on the first day of our visit to Sydney. It served us well as we were able to get familiar with the city in just three hours. We saw enough to know where to spend more time later on our vacation and got a lot of good tips and suggestions from our guide, Justine. There were... More

Lisa was very helpful and informative. The only negative part has nothing to do with Lisa but involved the process of getting to the location with my 93 years old mother in a portable wheelchair In my 3 days in Sydney, FOUR taxicabs refused service. The last one taxicab is pictured in this comment. My recommendation for those that are... More

Ross was our very well informed guide this morning on the I'm Free Walking Tour taking in some of the fantastic sights of Sydney. He spoke clearly and was loud enough not to need any amplification - a bonus as some tour guides rely on microphones which can be distorted. We have visited Sydney countless times and he still managed... More

Thank you to Lisa, an informative, friendly and fun guide who is clearly passionate about her hometown. The tour was at a relaxed pace with plenty of stops. I'd thoroughly recommend the experience on arrival in Sydney, a great introduction with lots of hints and tips on how to make the Dollars go further.

Did the Rocks walking tour with Ross as the guide, on my first day in Australia. Overall very impressed with the thought that went into it, and how much I learned and laughed over the one and half hours walking thru storied back alleys and past historical buildings that I would have walked past without second thoughts or maybe not... Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
