We joined the 2 hour evening sail and had a fantastic time. The crew were lovely, view were beautiful and food was delicious. Everyone in our party agreed. It’s a really great way to see Sydney Harbour and learn about the history of the area.

All smooth sailing as our company team of 7 enjoyed the glistening waters and spectacular views of Sydney Harbour. Fun, friendly crew provided interesting and informative commentary throughout the 90 minute tour. Highly recommend for both visitors and Sydney locals or a company team outing.

We were extremely disappointed in the Sydney Harbour Cruise company because the cruise was cancelled the day before our scheduled event. I made the reservations a month in advance for the ONLY day we were in Sydney - probably the only time we will ever...More

Fantastic tour around Sydney harbour! The crew was great and very competent. A must do is to climb up the mast, that was the best thing of all!

The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and
sailors from the old nation. As the oldest

buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney,
Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi

Service Apartment and mode of transportation (7 Replies)
Hi I am planning a holiday with my kids (3 years old and 22 months old) to Sydney next June. We will be staying in Sydney 6D5N as we will be moving on to Gold Coast for another 8D7N. I have shortlist Meriton at Pitt Street and Kent Street, any recommendations which is better choice? Or any other hotel or service apartment worth considering? We will need to buy simple groceries (meat and vegetables) from supermarket to cook for my younger kid. So will prefer one that is near...More

The two properties you have nominated are almost identical in every aspect. From apartment size to proximity to a supermarket, as well as distances to various attractions. That said, if I were to choose between the two, taking into consideration your two kids, I would probably favour Meriton Pitt Street for several reasons. It's closer and level walk to Town Hall Station, which is going to be prominent when travelling to Circular Quay, potentially many of the other areas of the CBD, and...More
