Wow wee!!!

After 2 cancellations in 2020 & 2021 due to covid, a beautiful evening was had by 58 of our closest family & friends for our wedding last week.

The boat was beautiful, the staff were fantastic and the experience for everyone will certainly remain memorable for a lifetime.

The catering was top quality and food just seemed to keep coming. The beers were cold, and the location on the harbour was A1. Sunsets, full moon and watching the cruise boat leave in front of us was spectacular.

Happy to answer anyones questions if you’re looking at doing something a little different for your wedding.

We had a wonderful NYE cruise on the old timber ferry, Wangi Queen. The finger food was good and plentiful, the bar was open and with just 49 passengers there was plenty of room to get a great vantage point. Take a jacket no matter what the weather though as the breeze off the water can be cold. A lovely experience with no loud music, just some background CDs and a little light entertainment from Craig and his ukulele.

My wife and I did the overnight cruise on Sydney Harbour.
Right from the start we were welcomed like family.
All the crew are professional and enthusiastic. They are passionate and love to share their experiences.
The next morning we woke up to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge views while we ate breakfast.
Then we visited Goat island with a very informative talk.
All in all, a must do!

We did the New Years Eve 2022 cruise with the Soren Larson.
First we needed to come dressed in business casual or we would not be accepted to board.
But it was already clear when we stepped foot on the boat, we could have come with dirty clothes to match the skipper and the captain. (Just mentioning it was an expensive cruise)
We didn’t see half of the food we bought for and the food we saw was very underwhelming and simply bad in taste, soggy and not worth eating it.
The kitchen was dirty and we felt overly ripped off.
The boat was so filled with people that there wasn’t enough place for everyone to sit down.
Also the Soren Larsen lies quite far back at the midnight firework to the harbor bridge.
We would not go again on this boat.

My son and I just completed the voyage from Williamstown (near Melbourne) to Sydney over nine days. We lived with the crew and other voyage trainees. It was a profound experience shared with wonderful people. We learnt so much about the life and ways of tall ship sailing. The crew had so much knowledge and skill and gave us the confidence to meet the challenges. I have many fond memories of this trip. Exposure to the elements of wind and water and working with it changes you in the best way possible. I really loved stopping in at the sheltered wilderness coves like on Wilson's Promontory for access to some great land wilderness too. These long distance voyages do not come up often and although we have not yet got our land legs back yet, we are dreaming of the next one. Consider us hooked.

Went on a 2 night, 3 day tall ship cruise around Sydney harbour on the Coral Trekker. During the day we sailed and went to amazing hiking locations. The lovely owners of the ship Marty and Lisa, are absolutely wonderful people. Also the crew member Marlese I would highly recommend this tall ship cruise. You will be very active and have a blast, it is great to spend time among amazing people.

We booked on this only for it to pour down on the day. A torrential downpour!
Nevertheless we had a great time on the ship with staff who seemed enthusiastic and spoke about the history.
Canapés were served and a bar available; a few members of the group did the mast sail.
Very affordable for 1.5 hours.

The Tall ship tour of Sydney Harbour is a fun time. So nice to see activity coming back into the centre of Sydney on a weekend.
In one way it made the trip nice as not too many people onboard so it was easy to move around.
We went on the sunset cruise and it was well worth it! Brisk wind but made it great once the big sails dropped.
Nice crew, knowledgeable on the history of Sydney Cove which made it more interesting.
Drinks, food and service was good and overall good value.
Departure from Campbell’s Cove near Pier One made it easy and close to the Bridge.

What a great experience. Craig our guide was wonderful. Food was basic but included drinks. Opportunity to climb the mast included. Only 14 guests to stay overnight. Accomodation was bunks but was warm and cozy and loved being rocked to sleep listening to the waves. We anchored between Mrs Macquarie’s chair and the opera house. Wow! Incredible view. Amazing experience. Breakfast was basic again but I guess you don’t do this experience for the food. Staff were great including Owen, Lachlan and Julia. Tour of Goat Island in the morning was really great with Craig. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience and would recommend so long as your expectations of an old tall ship are realistic. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

What a fantastic evening. Hard working and friendly crew, the kids even got the chance to climb the mast! This has to be the best spot in the Harbour to watch the fireworks. Great music, food and wine served all evening which was all delecious, The atmosphore aboard was fun, lively, you really felt welcomed and cared for. This is a great way to get out on the water and discover Sydney harbour, Thanks Captain Marty, Lisa and your crew for all the hard work and effort to make this a truly magic moment.
