Love traveling on the Sydney ferries. Relaxing and beautiful sights while on the harbour. Your choice of sitting inside or outside is great. The sea breezes when outside is what I love the most.

In my opinion this is the most atmospheric and relaxing ferry journey in the world.. watch the beauty of Sydney pass by. Try and get on a ferry at dusk as the photo opportunities are amazing

The best (and cheapest) way to see Sydney Harbour. Also very cheap on Sundays when fares are capped at under $3. Go over to Manly in the afternoon, have a wander around then come back at sunset for maximum impact.

Stayed in an apartment in Mosman so travelling by ferry ideal way to get into city. Best views of bridge & opera house too. Buy an opal card from garage or newsagents can use on ferry & buses.

When you are used to only having trains/trams/buses to travel on (I live in Melbourne), it is pretty cool to have the option to travel by ferry - and have it fall under the public transport so you can simply tap on & tap off...More

Refreshing way to travel around Sydney and avoid traffic. Get to work relaxed and get home carefree. Wish I could use them every day.
