Fabulous leisurely cruise to Manly Beach on a windy day on the most beautiful Harbour in the world. Great photo opportunities of Fort Denison, Sydney Opera House, Shark Island, Luna Park, Sydney Harbour Bridge.....the list goes on and on. If you like a bit of an adventure DO choose a windy day and sit/stand outside on the lower deck (bow... More

Tourist visiting Sydney must go for a sunset dinner cruise on board Sydney 2000 cruise ship operated by Captain Cook Ferries. The cruise is excellent to see Sydney from the cove. The view is excellent. First one can see Sydney in day time. Then during sunset and lastly Sydney at night time. All these while one is served a 2... More

Great and cheap way to get out on the water in Sydney. Have used these many times when in Sydney, loved getting up the river to Paramatta - have lunch and then come back. Or get great views of the Opera House on your way to Manly or Watsons Bay.

We took one ferry company out, and another back. Both were fast, fun, and efficient. And inexpensive in US$. It was a sunny, cool day, and we travelled with another couple over to Manly Beach. Had lunch there. See review of Bluewater Cafe.

It is the best & convenient to ride on the ferry. 25 minutes and we arrived Manly. The ferry has open decks in front and rear for guests to enjoy sunshine and breeze. If you want to read, it is easy to get a very quiet seat among the double-deck. The ride is always too short for me. :D

The ferries are an outstanding way to get around Sydney that not only get you to your destination efficiently, but with great views. Buy your Opal card and use it on the ferry, the bus or the subway. We bought ours at the airport and then refilled it at Circular Quay (there are also shops where you top off your... More

This was a great way to see the city from a distance. Plus a quick way across the harbor. This place is beautiful and this is a great opportunity even if you don't need to go to the other side, its just great perspective even for kids.
