One of the best things about Sydney are the ferries (is the ferries - I don't know). Anyway, it's a great way to see the city, and you can just hop on - and off as well, presumably. If for some reason you don't like...More

We took a few Ferrys and enjoyed a circular trip around most of the harbour which made a few stops on the other side of Sydney.

Quick trip...15-20 minutes, very smooth; worth the $8.00. Beautiful views from the Ferry. Plenty of seating.

They are the best way to get around when in Sydney to be able to see the many bays and coves and villages along the shore... and see the views from different angles...

So cramped we didn’t get a seat luckily we were going a short distance. You have no other choice but to use a ferry def needs so many upgrades. We fix the trains but the ferries have remained the same for the past 20 years.

we've been to Sydney before so knew about the ferry system. great way to get around but also to see the harbor. we took numerous ferries. Good idea to get an opal card if you are there a while.
