The Morton Park Reserve carpark is easily reached from Milton (turn off the Princes Highway), and although the final approach road is not sealed, you don't really need a 4WD to get there. The climb, whilst fairly steep in places, is also reasonably easy -...More

The drive to the car park from the Princes Highway was approx 26 kms along a bumpy dirty road so it’s pretty slow going. The hike up took us an hour. We set off around 8am to try to get back before the heat of...More

What a great hike. The weather wasn’t the best (no view at the top just clouds), but it made it not so hot & sticky as it was a strenuous climb to the top. Took us an hour and a half up and an hour...More

A long drive in from the main road on mostly dirt road. The walk is well sign posted and took us (fairly fit) approx 1 hr 20 mins to get to the top. Then just over an hour return. Take care going down as it...More

3-4 hour challenging walk that had my heart racing on the way up and my legs shaking on the way down. Stunning views that were well worth the walk! Bring a drink bottle and a snack, you'll need them!

We went on a hike with Tom from Region X in Batemans Bay, who knows the walk well and was a great guide. Unfortunately my arthritic knees began to complain at the steep steps and climb in the first half of the walk, so I...More

We climbed the mountain with our 5 and 9 year old. It was a very grey and foggy day so we did not see any views at the top, but the kids loved the fact that they had climbed high enough to be in the...More

This is a long climb up but the views at the top are amazing. My 7 year old loved it and wanted to do it again as soon as we reached the bottom, lol.

This is a terrific walk - but not for the inexperienced walker as there is a lot of climbing including a series of metal ladders at the end. The views at the end are spectacular and worth the climb. The descent is much easier. The...More
