I visited the Hunter Valley as part of my daughter in law to be's hens weekend. I hasn't been for many years and was delighted at the standard of the wineries, the general atmosphere and the accommodation choices.
I will be keen to return!
We love visiting Hunter Valley. Just about 90mins drive from Sydney. We enjoyed looking at the different stalls in the weekend markets. We ended up buying a few jars of homemade jam, some lovely natural soap bars, honey, homemade sourdough bread, wood baked pizza, etc....More
