... but it can get busy, even a bit overcrowded? Still, the deli and bakery for the pies are my favourite. The fruit and vegies can be patchy still sometimes you can get a seasonal bargain like tomatoes or mangoes. YMMV

This was our last stop in Canberra and a welcome break from National Galleries and sightseeing. I had heard that the produce comes out of the Riverina and it is super fresh. That it was. We visited all 4 massive fruit shops and ended up...More

Love, love, love the array of continental produce available, the wonderful smells bought back childhood memories. Great selection of fresh foods for all tastes. Wish I had one of these at home.

An eclectic fresh food experience, with delicatessen, bakery and meat/seafood offerings and more. Also a good place to relax with informal eating/coffee experiences, supported by usually ample free parking, close to shopping destinations. For fresh vegetables, fruit and even flowers the Fyshwick market as a...More

For years we have been a regular visitor to the markets. There is a great array of stores with plenty of variety and specialist suppliers. There are great butchers, greengrocers, fishmongers, delis and specialist stores for nuts, spices, Asian delights and health foods. The "Plonk...More

One of the best designed markets I have seen. All fantastic fresh produce and a superb range. Certainly worth the effort. No wonder the locals shop here

I don't get much of a 'market' vibe here. I thought it is more like a fresh food shopping centre without a major supermarket darkening its door. Certainly has some great products and hard to find European items. Not exactly cheap though.
