AMAZING!!! I didn’t think I would get to touch and interact with so many animals. Ty, our Zoo Keeper, was so flexible, happy to change his plans to get us the best opportunities to see the animals. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and passionate about the animals. Gorgeous animals. Highly recommended.

I have now been a few times and done a variety of experiences. I have loved being a zoo keeper for the day abs walking the king cheetahs as well as staying at the Jamala Wild lodge which was an incredible experience. Highly recommend this zoo and the kids always love visiting there.

Did the 'Wonders of Wildlife' tour at the National Zoo in April and it was truly amazing. While it is quite expensive, I can say that it is really worth it. Full day - from 8am to around 4pm - and they supply you with morning tea & lunch. It's a truly behind the scenes tour where you visit about a dozen different enclosures and get to feed most of the animals. Highlight is getting up close to a Rhino, petting the resident Cheetah and feeding the Lions. A fantastic tour with teenagers (although I think they need to be 15 to interact with some of the animals). Our guide was Jake who was extremely knowledgable and certainly added to the day's enjoyment. Highly recommended.

Had the opportunity to visit the zoo and was very pleasantly supplied. It was the Easter weekend so needless to say chockers. Large Carpark that provided at least two entrances that I know of. Well staffed to provided ease of access to the zoo. Inside well marked paths the guide map added to ease of finding exhibits and with the design of the exhibits generally easy to see inhabitants. With a good degree of disability access and reasonably level for those who may be challenged with their mobility. Great day enjoyed

Had a great day at the zoo with the kids. Ability to see the animals up close was there best ive seen at any zoo. We did find the map (and walking trail) slightly confusing but got the hang of it.
