The house itself was incredibly interesting! The staff (Helen particularly!) was very knowledgeable and passionate! The house was gorgeous, well-preserved. Amazing to think that many items were originals from 1927! My only complaint and why it isn't 5 stars - the house is only open...More

We both Absolutely loved this house. What a history lesson and still with the original pieces of white goods in working order. Pull out the drawers in the bedroom set up as they would be in the 1920's and 30's. I absolutely congratulate Canberra for...More

I have lived in Canberra for 20 years and never made it a priority to visit this house. Happened to visit a friend in the neighborhood and popped in for a visit with kids. Interesting how the rich lived then.

Great time capsule from a prominent family, very interesting and a lovely staff. Enjoyed the whole thing. Did you know that there are hidden credit card charges if you book with Trip Advisor, and no way to complain about them???
