Underwhelmed. Attended with my wife and 8mth old. Expecting much more science and exciting discoveries. Looked more like a childrens Lego land (and a harbour for sickness). Wish I didn't spend the $46 TBH. And I'm rarely a negative commentator. Always finding positives in all things... Okay if you have kids between 5 to 9yos.

It is always never enough time When we take kids to the questacon and kids are only a good excuse to go there. We love it every time. Something to see, something to learn. A fantastic learning space for all ages. The only downside is the cafe that serves bad coffee and ordinary food but the questacon is brilliant. The... More

Great trip for adults and kids. Robot is interesting, well set out for ease of movement with thematic rooms and interactive activities for Tweens and Teens. Easy to ride and park with bikes.

Never visited Questacon with kids, just with friends who enjoyed each visit and continued talking over lunch about the experiments and the Gravitram clock. Just a light hearted fun time getting hands on and enjoying every minute. Well worth a visit no matter how old.

We love visiting Questacon. We are members and visit quite often. There's always a new exhibit or new live show to see. This is a brilliant place for anyone, but particularly good for families, as there is so much hands-on things to see and do, and there is a separate toddlers area and kids play area - both are going... We visited Questacon. It is the best thing for kids to do in Canberra, however it is very expensive for a large family (it should be cheaper). Staff very friendly. They have an excellent gift-shop for the kids.

I'd heard lots about this place, especially for kids. A school hols must do. We spent 4-5 hours there! Plenty of levels/rooms. Make sure you see a show - instrumental everything was great.

Visited on a very hot Canberra day. Inside was another world, full of interesting experiments and lots of children and parents - it was school holidays after all! We found lots of things to wonder at. Needed a cool drink at the end so bought water $3.50.... lo cal soft drinks had run out. The food was all of the... More

It's a must visit if you are in Canberra, especially with Kids. Parking is free on weekends, staff is very courteous and your kids would learn quite a few things there.
