A stroll around the various monuments and memorials on Anzac Parade is well worth the time. Budget an hour or two, depending on your level of interest, and avoid the hotter parts of the day. The views in each direction are also very impressive.
we stopped and walked up both sides visiting each memorial and paying tribute to all those lives lost. each memorial was so beautifully done and just amazing . it was a very hot day but well worth stopping and reading each one .
The walk has great monuments and art on both sides. We walked down towards lake and parliament houses, and then back up to war memorial.
Great views and although not a long walk we took about an hour to do.
