The Royal Australian Navy Memorial is a moving tribute to the people who have served Australia at sea. The number and range of wars and conflicts is remarkable. The memorial is a moving place.

We didn't really like this memorial. It's a personal choice but sometimes trying to do something different isn't always successful, we just prefer something more traditional.

It took reading the plaque to work out all of the shapes and their meanings in this memorial but that does mean you spend extra time taking it in. There is a danger that you focus on just the sculpture and not the overall meaning...More
