The castle is very beautiful piece of Czech and Czechoslovakia history. You will learn a lot of from history and you can experience the exact feeling of what it was like living during 19th century. What I really admired, was preserved and authentic exhibits. Unfortunately during our visit, there were repairing in progress, but I am glad to see someone care about the building and preserve it into future.

... nice small town with castle and old stone bridge. Specially during the summer you will enjoy the castle tour and surrounding park. In the town you will be very limited with possibility to eat... just one, two available restaurants... but anyway has sence to visit if going around...

At road 399 you can get to Castle parking above but 'We' walked from the old village Náměšť nad Oslavou upon the mountain with friends a 20 minutes. At the Castle a restaurant for refreshments. A tour at the castle with guide 45 minutes and we watched a medieval play of sword fight and rescued ladies, also some market stalls with nutts & sweets, wine.
