It is situated on the side of NH 7. One can visit the fort on their way to Nandi hills. Unlike other forts, there's a village, schools and temples within the fort. There are gun points provided on the walls. One can walk along the...More

A fortress where Tippu Sultan was born. We can see the ramparts under reconstruction and a will to restore the history of this place. Fortunately, the remains are apparent and can be partially restored.

First visit on an evening looking out for a temple and we landed here with many temples within. A walk on the fort wall is quiet refreshing . Its a full fledged village settlement within the fort than a place for tourist attraction
