Too many people don't know about Newark Antiques Centre which is a real shame. It's tucked away up a drive way across from the big ASDA. There is something for everybody. From collectables to fine antique furniture, books to costume jewellery, Newark Antiques Centre has it all! Our tea room is delightful selling delicious home made cakes and freshly prepared hot food and regular daily specials. Our attractive website is user friendly and very useful as you can buy items directly or reserve them. Worth a visit if you're in the area

Interesting mix of real antiques, vintage and shabby chic items in a range of stalls all included in this beautiful former Methodist Chapel. Worth a visit, something to suit all needs I think.

This antique centre is just off the town centre. It has a small car park but it is probably best to use the car park at Asda over the road. There is a small cafe on the premises. There is a wide selection of antiques and collectables offered by many different dealers but as usual with antique centres they won't give more than 10% discount. Worth a look if you're in Newark. Also check out the other antique centre round the corner in Albert Street.

Disappointing
Aug 2019
I was disappointed with the antiques centre, although it’s a lovely old building, I felt like some of the units just had house clearance items.

A large place to walk round ,check every corner.
Mar 2019 • Solo
A while since I visited last and a few newer vendors, this is a huge place to walk round with each section having generally lots of hidden corners to check out. Even in this day and age there are bits you can find well under priced for the market. yes also plenty well overpriced as well. some dealers will move on price a bit more than the usual 10%. Upstairs is very difficult if you have any mobility issues but worth checking out all the cabinets with a fine tooth comb.
Depending on the day you visit the people staffing can be great and inviting or a few can be basically, your in there way but these are very few. Parking can be a problem but easier to use the Asda car park across the road. With such a lot of dealers im sure you will find something in your area of interest.

Felt like a nuisance

What more can I say. Dealers everywhere bringing in stock and stood about chatting, 1 lady dealer was wandering around on her mobile phone, she gave us cursory looks when ever we tried to look at items in the units where she was having her phone call. Really off putting experienc

Very Rude staff
Mar 2018 • Family
An interesting centre spoilt by rude staff. Having spent time looking around I politely asked if an item sold as a set could be sold individually (upstairs counter).A reasonable question I thought!!! I was told in a mocking tone that this couldn't be done as it devalued the set. This is fair enough however, I will certainly not be returning as the tone and implication was that it was a stupid / rediculous question. I certainly wasn't left feeling like a valued customer!!!!!

Quaint building shows of lots of dealers' wares ...
Jan 2018 • Couples
This is lovely old building which is divided into small sections for dealers to sell their wares. Lots of different types of antiques on sale. Prices are generally pretty reasonable, I thought.

There were some old games i recognised from the 60s/70s and looks of jewelry.

Well worth a visit.

A gem, well worth a visit.
Jan 2018 • Couples
What a gem! We found this place on the internet and thought we would pop in to have a look. We were not disappointed. It is a large building with filled with a large collection of furniture, jewellery, China, books, vintage clothing, tools and artwork much more. The staff a very cheerful and helpful. There is also a cafe for tea, coffee, cakes and more. Was well worth a visit. Be aware that the car park is very small.
