We called here on the way past from shopping at Lincoln. Very friendly staff and home cooked food, they have a home made pie of the day. Also behind this pub is a camping site. Plenty of walks in the area, along the River Trent flood plain.

I have frequented quite a number of food places around the surrounding villages. It was a pleasure to
Be waited on at our table, kids entertained by one of the staff and the food was amazing. For the price I was apprehensive to place this review because I don’t want them to Put up the prices for what was all round amazing portions and delicious fresh food.
Thank you and we will be visiting soon with family and friends.

Made to feel welcome... food is more than adequate. Dogs welcome as long as diners don't mind. Be aware car park is opposite on busy A road, but help is given to watch you across if required. Have some live music at certain times during month.

We dropped in as we were passing and the very helpful landlord stopped the traffic so my disabled mom could cross the road. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who took our order, explained it would be a while as they had quite a few in front of us. Ok the wait was a bit longer than we thought but when the food came it was worth the wait. Toasted ham and cheese sandwich was lovely and hot and the ham salad sandwich was stuffed full of ham and salad. Well worth the wait.

The Bridge Inn serves the best Irish I’ve had outside of Ireland!
Portions great, staff warm and friendly and quality is excellent. We always go for the ‘Large Irish’; Sausage, bacon, eggs, black pudding, white pudding toms, beans, potato bread, soda bread and toast.
We don’t have to eat for the rest of the day!
Well recommended!

We passed through Dunham on the way to Lincoln, arriving at the far end of lunchtime. The first pub in the village we arrived at was closed Tuesday lunchtimes, but not The Bridge. This is a small pub, but is run with passion and enthusiasm, and we were particularly happy that the kitchen was open. We had gammon (a steal with all the trimmings for just £7) and a toastie with a bowl of outstandingly good chips. The menu tells you (with apologies to vegetarians) that the chips are cooked in beef dripping, which is why the pub filled with an enticing aroma before they arrived, and also why they tasted just so very good. This place was a real find, and judging by the notices around the pub for events and days out, is the centre of some serious social life in the village. Don't miss it if you're passing - they keep an excellent pint of Black Sheep as well.
