I last visited 20 years ago and it has really got better with maturity. Superb Japanese garden which is a delight to walk round. It was great to sit in the pleasant surroundings, listening to the calming water and watching the carp.

An absolutely amazing place to visit. You walk in, and think you're in a someone's small back garden, and you sort of, are. Except this one is huge, carefully laid out, full of interesting plants, trees and sculptures. Ponds, streams, crystals. It's peaceful, with only...More

This small oasis of Japan in north Nottinghamshire is a real surprise. The garden is beautiful laid out with paths and spaces though which you can wander. It is a peaceful haven and we enjoyed drinks in the garden. The koi carp are amazing and...More

Been past the sign many times so decided to call in with friends on our way back from Newark. The leaflet says award winning and also 2 acres. The whole site including the car park, buildings and overgrown areas maybe 2 acres but the garden...More

No you can pay when you get there. There is advance booking if you want it, but it's not necessary.
