Easily the better of the antique centres in Newark
Feb 2020
I prefer this one probably because it sells more of the type of items I like rather than just the same old masses of furniture pottery and jewellery. (and I got a couple of items) It is well laid out and the stalls are easily accessed so you can see what they have. Friendly people too and a small car park.

This centre is on my regular list, always Tidy and well organised with a warm welcome. with a high turnover of antiques and collectables. room after room of cabinets and large sections of individual dealers. Don't miss the upstairs rooms which is easy to do. there is a reasonably large carpark, if it does happen to be full, use the nearby ASDA one, don't risk the road, Newark Parking attendants miss nothing.
It always strikes me how clean and tidy the centre is kept and everything can be seen easily. you can grab a cuppa as well and not expensive. You will be surprised how large it is inside compared to how big it looks as you arrive, room after room just appears. The building started as a school then a workshop for the brewery, then a salvation army Church so plenty of history in the building.

A great antique centre, the standards still high, plenty of room to browse and a huge range of antiques and collectables. There is always a friendly welcome and not only the owners but other section owners are always helpful. Allow a good hour to cover the 2 floors. Many cabinets as well as larger sections. A high turnover of stock across the centre so always something different to see.
Car parking on site is free and it is rare not to be able to get a space. Of all the centres in Newark this remains my favourite.

We have visited this centre on a number of occasions and always enjoy ourselves. There are plenty of lovely items to buy and not too pricey. The layout is excellent, well presented and clean. You can also enjoy a cuppa on your visit

Recommended by an old friend who shares an interest in all things old and collectable. in good condition, at a reasonable price. Wide range of antique and bygone items, small and large, some unusual and mostly collectable. Good choice, helpful knowledgable staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely Antiques Centre in Newark
Apr 2017 • Couples
Visited this antiques centre which is only a short walk from the centre of Newark. There is a small car park too. Always find this a friendly place and you can take your time having a look around without feeling rushed, There is an upstairs area too with furniture as well as a small café area if you want a break.

If you appreciate interesting fine antiques and collectables at very reasonable prices this is the place for you, the owners Shirley and Simon always make you very welcome.

Excellent antiques, friendly staff
Dec 2016
Newark has the luxury of several antique centres but this is definitely the best. The staff were very helpful and attentive without being OTT. We bought 5 items and could easily have bought more. There was everything from a few pounds to hundreds. It was a very enjoyable visit and we'll definitely go again
