Once a year they have a viking market. Viking music, food, horses and loads more. Right beside the church, mounds and museum. The marked lasts all weekend. Well worth a visit.

Very interesting museum (visit is free), that tells a lot on the life of the Vikings, situated next to the famous rune stones at the church.

Great exibition with educational information on the birth of Denmark and the early kings. Indeed interesting for all ages - from kids to elderly people. The surrounding are 'rebuilt' to visualize how it was in ancient time. A real must!

The site is interesting enough in its own right (and the stones at the village church are awe-inspiring), but it would be worth making a special journey just for the (free) exhibition with its user-friendly explanations of Viking history, the conversion to Christianity, the Vikings'...More
