Kurt Ediassen is a local farmer who offers guided fishing trips. We were 8 people in total, and felt safe and comfortable on his roomy boat, which could fit up to 12 passengers. Thanks to Kurt's knowledge we were able to catch both cod and pollock. He helped prepare the fish which we ate for dinner the next day. His family have lived in the area for generations so he also offered great insight on the local history.
All in all, the trip was a great way to experience the impressive scenery of Northern Norway while catching your own dinner.

I can really recommend a boat trip with Kurt Ediassen, who runs the company. We got to experience the mountains and sea from his new boat, and it was wonderful. You can also fish or go swimming (if the water is warm enough...!) from the boat. Kurt is a local and has a lot of local knowledge that he happily shares with the guests. And the cakes you get served. .. absolutely delicious!! Highly recommended!

The most wonderful fishing trip I ever had with my family not only in Norway but in all Europe countries.
The trip was like a magic, the scenery was so beautiful.
And the catch was excellent. And the captain and his family was so kind

Great experience, highly recommended! Captain Kurt provides a comfortable ride, fun anecdotes, and gives you insight into the history of this beautiful and raw place. When he saw our enthusiasm, he brought out a fishing pole and helped my mom catch the biggest fish of her life. We had a chance to taste the water that spills in rivers from deep mountain caves into the fjord, we even met a porpoise and an eagle, all the while surrounded by the stunning nature Ofoten has to offer. We were served tea, coffee, juice, homemade cake, and homemade jam by the lady of the boat. Truly a magical evening!

I will highly recommend this experience to other travellers. The boat is in excellent condition, the crew knows their "stuff", both handling of the vessel, as well as where to get the best catch. Great cabin space and facilities, so even with a drizzle part of the time, we were very comfortable. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day, with great fishing and amazing scenery.
