Gadbjerg Church is not far from Give in a south-westerly direction.
The church was open when the service had just ended and we had the opportunity to see it inside, so nice.
The church was built around the year 1200 and is built in granite blocks and later added monks' stone and has a plinth of frost stone. The tower and porch were added in brick somewhat later.
The church is white and has a red tile roof.
Located high up and surrounded by the cemetery.
Last restored in 1991.
The church has inside a yellow brick stone floor, a gray wooden ceiling from which hangs a nave. In the tower, however, there are vaults and on one wall a beautiful glass mosaic in a window.
The pulpit is a simple one with sky.
The benches are purple with gray cushions and the top 2 on both sides have coats of arms.
There is a fine granite baptismal font with sky which is located just inside the door at the back of the nave, which is no longer seen so often.
There is a distinguished altar table with a large communion picture.
An exciting little church to visit.
