Staffed by friendly and informed individuals..Throubi is a great place to pick up home grown type gifts - teas, spices, soaps, oils, wines and more. We purchased some Mountain Tea and can’t wait to take it home to the States to enjoy. In case you didn’t already know, Mountain Tea is a great detox beverage.

We found exactly what we were looking for, at this shop with Ikarian products. A vase of nice "kritama" (rock smphire), which is a marvellous herb that only grows at rocky places. It has a subtle, yet particular taste and is great for salads and sauces. Then a bunch of "throumbi", which is something between oregano and thyme and seasons nicely dressings and sauces. And of course rich aromatic honey from the island... All of them top quality!
