Drove here looked good. after entering office was greeted by the most rude and cranky man I have ever meet for someone in the tourism and accommodation industry. Asked for a River Cruise answer was "When i have my boat in the water no one wants to know ya". "Nah im finished for the season"... Well what about a powered... More

Hosts Rob and Kaye offer a humorous and unique experience cruising Tasmania's last unlogged, undamed and unspoilt wild rivers.....the estuary opens onto the Great Southern Ocean, and the incoming swells have to be seen to be believed, there can be no doubt as to the power of mother nature for all to see by the size and amount driftwood left... The peace of this unspoilt wilderness was something that I never thought I would be able to experience again as I now have to use a walker to get about. Getting on the boat was easy and the trip comfortable. The stop for lunch involved a short walk on flat surface to a shelter, where we had a choice of... More

Peaceful, relaxing cruise up the Arthur River, the commentary was good and the lunch and wine in the forest sufficient. Was a bit disturbed by the feeding of the wildlife with processed meats etc.

This is a trip up the river in a boat and a quick look at eagles, if you lucky. Lunch was provided and alcohol at a shelter along the river. You can do a walk which is pleasant but nothing really exciting. The remoteness and beauty is great and Rob's knowledge is good.

Highly recommend this boat trip if you are looking for a relaxing day out. Saw plenty of wildlife out on the water and Captain Robwas very obliging with turning the vessel around for photos and cleaning se up views - even of the swimming snake! The package deal of cruise and accommodation is good value.

The captain explained the flora and fauna and a bit of history of the river.fed the sea eagles. The walk in the rainforest was of interest but not very well signed. Lunch was tasty and filling. The boat was comfortable.

You have a choice of 2 Arthur River Cruises and I can confidently say that AR Reflections, being the White boat is the best option - Why? The boat has seating on the roof for clear views. Rob has decades of knowledge about this river and its wildlife. The catering for lunch was exceptional as was the wildlife close by... More

Brilliant cruise, the captain went out of his way to accomodate the photographers on board. Very knowledgable about fauna and flora, we saw white breasted sea eagles and even a kingfisher. The eagles received some morsels, they dived down onto the water to get it, where does one has the opportunity to see that in the wild? We also saw... More

We have just spent a wonderful day today on the Arthur River with this company. Spectacular scenery, incredibly peaceful surroundings , a great boat and a terrific captain in Rob. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and its wildlife and a great sense of humour. The top deck on the boat made a world of difference to... More
