During our trip, we were fortunate enough to attend the final day of the Volcom Pipe Pro 2017 here. What an amazing experience! The beach is of course, beautiful and famous for surfing. Even on a normal day though, it is just awesome to watch people surfing at pipeline!

I'm not a surfer & don't like to venture out in big waves but these were something to see! Nice beach & we watched the waves & surfers for hours.

The Banzai Pipeline is truly legendary. The waves were huge, and the surfers were fun to watch. It's nice to walk on the shoreline, but be careful of the waves hitting you! In the parking lot, there was a truck selling Banzei Pipeline souvenir shirts.

Pieline is one of those "meccas" for surfers. It is inspiring just the sit and whatch the surfers take on these enormous waves. Very impressive and very dangerous too. Must see place.

Nice place to sit back, relax, and watch the surfers in action. Waves weren't that big today but we'll go back again to check it out.

We were travelling to the North Shore of Oahu & really wanted to see the Pipeline. It can be difficult to find, as there is no sign marking the beach! We got good directions from a local guy. The beach was quiet the day we were there. No problem finding parking. But I bet it's a different story when the... More

Yet another iconic, North Shore of Oahu, beach; with amazing surf, and the surfers to watch riding it. Also, for people of a certain age, it also brings back memories of the Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, the Ventures, etc. We didn't do much surfing in the mid-west mainland, but names like the Banzai Pipeline sure caused a lot of... Even the North Shore has become a bit more built up a bit since my last visit 2 years ago. This is still a lovely drive (though more congested) along the coast up to and beyond Sunset Beach areas. Apparently there was a surf competition of some kind which was more crowded than usual. The pounding surf, blue waters and... More

The most unique thing about Pipe is that you can park your car and walk right up to it, and see amazing waves. Unlike Peahi, Mavericks, or Teahupoo this is a wave that is right there, with no crazy hikes or climbs to get there. The waves are massive, and it really is a site to see. Just for the... More

Banzai Pipeline is an icon on the North Shore of Oahu. Known for the world famous Triple Crown surfing contest and popular surfing beach. The beach can be tricky to find off the main road as it isn't signposted all that well. Pipeline also known as Khukai Beach. There isnt a lot of parking available especially in the summer or...
