The north shore beaches have such a problem with crime. Signs everywhere warning of it. Come on Oahu, station some police there to clean up the area and it could be great.

I found Banzai Pipeline to be a beautiful place to visit while up in the North Shore. The sand was very hot that day and so beautiful. The waves were HUMONGOUS! If you’re new to the area, I’d heed the warnings about going in the...More

The banzai pipeline is Ehukai beach. We stopped by to look, but there were really no waves. Beautiful beach though. Parking, showers and restrooms. And a changing room too.

The easiest way is to Uber. We have used them several times to go back and forth to the airport. The cheapest way is to take the local bus.

We were there in mid morning. Ask around and find out what the waves are like. If it’s messy, the good ones may not be out. Enjoy
