Private Traditional Wooden Boat Tour with Lunch in Numana

2 reviews
Why choose us? Because no other boat in Numana can offer the same tailor-made and authentic sailing experience, without sacrificing comforts, like cushy seats, food, music, and a freshwater shower. This is both an old-fashioned and classy choice for an unforgettable tour.

Our boat can accommodate up to 6 passengers, which means that every trip will be intimate and planned according to your own desires. We will be free to look for the quietest spot to drop anchor, away from the most populated beaches. Along the way you'll be able to see how a traditional sailing boat is rigged and manoeuvred, and if you want you'll be able to try your hand at the helm.

It will be my concern to make sure that you will fondly remember your time with us for years to come. It's the little things that turn a generic boat trip into an experience to treasure. It's not just what you see: it's how you experience it that matters.

A wonderful place in a magic bay. One church in the nature. Fantastic experience. A marveillous sea. Good people. Food very very good.

You can admire this church only from a distance unless you are lucky enough to arrive during the very limited opening times. I can understand that churches in quite isolated spots may be open infrequently for visitors but it's the first time I have to walk right to the end of a beach, scramble up an unofficial 'path' (someone has kindly provided a rope) and peer through a fence topped by barbed wire to even be able to admire the outside (beautiful, nevertheless), hence the three stars....

Apart from the location being stunningly beautiful the church itself is breath taking. The internal piece (Marys Home) is unusual and beautiful. The history and myth surrounding the house is interesting too. A must visit along the route ;)

First of all, ignore reviews that refer to climbing hills. They obviously refer to a different church! This one is at the end of a very flat road along the coast in Portonovo. It's very pretty inside, cool and calm, but also very simple. It is not open much but there are very informative leaflets in both English and Italian which explain the history and the architectural significance. There may also be a guide - there was one when I visited but he was talking to other visitors so I didn't get the personal touch. He seemed very well informed though.
