This is the main church in town and the iron work alter with candles is common for this part of Basilicata. The organ has recently been restored and there are periodic concerts, though it is not played during weekly mass. The statues of the Virgin Mary, St Peter and St Anthony are used during the processions for their individual saint days. Be sure to admire the bronze plated entry doors.…

The Chiesa di San Pietro (Church of St. Peter) almost at the highest point of this quiet yet charming hilltop town.
