Interesting and pleasant to visit
Oct 2018
This location was a delightful surprise as I did not know it existed. The highlight was showing the kangaroos to my overseas visitors. It was easy to park which was much appreciated.

Urban Farm
May 2019 • Solo
This is in Bundoora Park on Mt. Cooper which is the highest place in the whole Melbourne metropolitan area. It's an excellent place to take young children, a large proportion of whom would never have the opportunity to see a farm and touch small farm animals. There is plenty of parking available.

great playground
Dec 2018 • Family
Took 20 kids here last week- fantastic time had by all. We were there around 4 hrs (including snack time). There's a terrific all abilities playground next to the cafe- this was a huge hit.
Farm has many typical farm animals...guinea pig/ rabbit cuddling at set times. We milked Thelma (the cow) and kids enjoyed feeding the other animals. Tractor ride was fun getting close to the emus and kangaroos.... we even saw a fox! Staff were fantastic.
There's also the old settlement there where you can make scones/ churn butter/ see an old style school room and home.
Areas to have a picnic or cook a BBQ.
The park is across the road. Toilets newly renovated.

Think it was $10.40 for adults, less for kids.... $3.50 for tractor ride

Great fun for the kids
Jul 2018 • Family
The urban farm located in this settlement is great fun for the kids and young at heart. Easy parking, even in the school holidays, and the staff were so kind and friendly to the children, helping them to get hands on with the lambs and guinea pigs.Very family friendly and a great place to visit.

Great school excursion
Oct 2016 • Friends
Students enjoyed their visit learning about the 'olden' days and how they compare to today. Visit was varied and included hands on activities (washing clothes, churning butter, horse/cart ride) and a walk through the old school room/ home etc. The animals in the neighbouring park are great too. Fantastic playground for kids near the entrance.

Fabulous urban farm, heritage village and a picnic spot
Jan 2017 • Family
Located next to Bundoora park Coopers settlement gives you and array of fun activities. Firstly it's urban farm is a well kept educational farm for young ones and those who are interested in farms. Animals are well treated and farm is amazingly clean.
They provide a guided tractor tour around section of the farm. Really a fun ride.

Then you can take part in feeding animals and handling guinea pigs.
Take the walking farm tour and far end you find the Colton wool factory with some of its al equipment ( now defunct)

If you are interested you can watch birds at the nearby lake through the well concealed observation deck.
Farm also provides BBQ facilities for picnics. and has a small play area two.

Cafeteria is located at the entrance and ticketing to the farm is also from cafeteria counter.
Cafeteria is clean and decent and prices are reasonable.
