my friend and i decided to visit cobham wood as a change of scenery from shorne country park and jeskyns, and i'm glad we did! it's a lovely walk and the mausoleum was really interesting to see from the outside. there are highland cows that graze around the area but we weren't fortunate enough to see them on this visit, but we'll be back no doubt.

Went for a walk in autumn sunshine! It was a lovely day with the sun shining, was just jumper and jeans weather, but I wore trainers and the pathways are very muddy! Went in from bligh side and took a different path than usual which took us to alpacas, turning left from there we found our usual pathway and made it to the mausoleum. It was after 3pm and I was surprised it was quiet, barely anyone around. Very peaceful!

Lovely place to walk. We went from Bligh way right through to the ship inn!! 5 hours of walking/riding and the kids loved it. My only issue is no dog pooh bins!!

I've been here a few times and always enjoy it. Just walking through the wood is lovely. A few more signs and directions boards wouldn't go astray as there were no paper site plans. In fact if they (National Trust) spent a bit more on signage they would be able to cut back on paper maps - just a thought.

Limited free parking available and easy to find with Google maps. A very beautiful woodland with some great trees. There are cattle grazing there which seem to be fine if you give them their space. In the centre you will a Mausoleum. A really nice place for a walk.
