I love taking my dog here regularly, no mater what the weather is like it's a nice escape in lovely surrounding especially when the local craft groups display all their lovely things around the trees and hedgerow.

The name is a little misleading at this stage as the wood is very young and planted within the last few years. However, don't let that stop you from going. It is a safe country walk perfect for my toddler and I. The wood offers...More

Great spot to take your dog for a walk, lovely & peaceful. There's an exercise station & picnic tables, also a small pond with a bridge over it.

Very infant woodland, I can excuse that but to call a dirty bit of water with drainage pipes exposed, a pond is a bit of a far stretch. I am sure in a few years it will look fantastic. What I feel spoilt the woods...More

This very immature woodland, provides the location for a pleasant circular walk stroll. Go regularly and watch the tiny saplings grow and the ground flora change over the seasons. Easy paths to follow and quite flat.

I was out here again for the rededication of the site as a World War I memorial site. The wood, plus Bentra Municipal Golf Course are now protected from development for 999 years on account that there was an aerodrome here in the Great War....More
