The parking place is just a few meters before the path on the coast starts. You walk about 2km beside the ocean until the path goes up to the lighthouse. The view from there is great and if you brought a blanket you can enjoy...More

This walk is amazing. Level footpath all the way so anyone can do it. For me there is nothing more relaxing than walking beside the sea listening to the water lapping against the rocks. Then add the view, the gorgeous wild flowers and the birds....More

The best walk you will ever have, peaceful and interesting, do some research on the area and you will not be disappointed by the history of the place. 'Sting' owned sunshine house! who wouldn't want to see that?

I used to live in Whitehead but moved away to work. Every time I come home I have to fit in as many walks to the lighthouse as possible. Every day is different. On Sunday it was positively tropical!
