We recently arrived in Adelaide on the Ghan, and only having a short time in Adelaide I had booked for Jason to pick us up from the train and take us on a half day wine tour of the Adelaide Hills. Unfortunately the Ghan got delayed and so I phoned Jason from the train as soon as we had mobile coverage- only a few hours before we had been due to start the tour.
Jason was fantastic- he rearranged his tours so that he could take us the following morning.
He picked us up from the hotel and we started at Mount Lofty for a great view over Adelaide. We had coffee and a stroll in Hahndorf and then a great wine and cheese tasting, finishing off with a spectacular lunch with wine tasting at another vineyard.
We are not wine experts but Jason explained the whole process and made this tour one of the highlights of our holiday in Australia. Highly recommended- and if we ever go back we would love to see the Barossa as well!

Jason picked us up from our accommodation and toured us around the Barossa, visiting several small family-owned wineries and then a slightly larger winery where we had lunch. We have been to the Barossa once before but Jason through his great knowledge was able to fill in a lot of the gaps for us in his very charming way. He was professional, interesting and fun as well as an extremely good driver. Highly recommended for those looking for a personalized yet low key winery tour.

Jason picked us up at our hotel in a very comfortable car and we spent the day touring the Barossa. Gorgeous time of year to visit this area, the vines are just budding and everything is so green. Jason's knowledge of the area and of the different wines was so interesting. We had a lovely lunch, toured three wineries, and just enjoyed the scenery. Couldn't have asked for a better guide. Cheers, Jason!

Thanks for your review. It was my great pleasure to show you both around. Barossa is a sensational region which I love showing to our guests.

Jason picked us up bright and early at The Louise in Barossa Valley for our two day wine tour. It was a lovely two days and Jason plotted for us a wonderful mix of wineries for our visit. He is an expert in his field and shared his considerable knowledge with us.

We enjoy wine touring and have done it in Napa/Sonoma Valley, Verona Italy and now Australia. We have had other wine tour guides before and found Jason to be top notch.

He took us to several wineries based on our preferences in both Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills. There were both big and small vineyards giving us a wide variety of experiences. We were able to experience the distinct difference in Rieslings and other Whites that normally both my husband and myself stay away from. These were clean and citrusy. We ended up purchasing more than we anticipated and Jason was tireless in trying to help us find a means to get these bottles back home.

The US has certain restrictions and the mailing options in Australia are limited when it comes to the states (no other countries have the same issues) but in the end he was able to help us find a way to get our bottles home safely.

Overall we couldn't recommend Jason more.

Happy travels to all!

Our Wine Group, six people, spent two wonderful days with Jason, who is at once knowledgeable, connected, genteel and appropriately humorous (and patient with all our questions). The choice of vineyards and tasting rooms, menus and other sights as we went from tasting to tasting were excellent and really contributed to our feeling that this was designed specifically for the 6 of us. Besides being schooled, Jason is a judge, so his depth of knowledge and point of view is great. We have a whole new appreciation for wine and the wine culture.

We recently had a full day tour with Jason while in Australia for our honeymoon and this was truly one of the unexpectedly amazing experience we had. Everything about the day was great - Jason took us to several different wineries in the Barossa Valley region each of which he was deeply knowledgeable. At each winery, Jason was able to thoroughly discuss the history of the location and even the history of specific patches of the vineyard, painting a complex history for each wine we tasted. This was not your standard wine tour where you're just dropped off at different vineyards- Jason was with us the whole day to provide us with all of the information and insider scoop. Jason was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable and gave us a great experience while exploring a truly wonderful region of Australia.

We spent a lovely day with Jason touring the Barossa Valley. He picked us up at our hotel and showed us around the area. Jason has great insights and knowledge of the region and the wine business. We had several wine tastings, one small boutique winery and a larger national cellar, and a delicious lunch. Touring with Jason is a wonderful way way to see the beautiful Barossa Valley!

We enjoyed a two day tour to Barossa and McLaren Vale visiting four wineries in Barossa and three in McLaren Vale - a combination of wineries from our "wishing list" and wineries selected by the guide (Jason Miller).
The combination was well selected and Jason was very attentive sharing his comprehensive knowledge of the areas.
The included lunches were experiences in themselves - great food and great places.
We highly recommend Rich & Lingering as Barossa and McLaren Vale wine tour guide.

We had a great experience with Jason on our full day tour of the wineries and scenery of the Barossa Valley. We visited many wineries, loved our lunch at Vintners restaurant, and shown the beautiful scenery and attractions of the Valley, as well as learning the history. Also loved our many conversations with Jason comparing life in Australia with our life and culture in the US.
We have always found in our travels that it is so worth hiring a guide. You can relax, sit back and absorb the entire experience without missing anything.
We loved our day- even though it was rainy! Jason gave us a great time! Highly recommend.

Our travel agent booked the tour with R&L promising it to be a memorable and personal tour and the hype was worth the wait. Jason was a great tour guide and answered all questions we had wine related or not. He created the perfect wine tour incorporating a few wineries a friend recommended and one he recommended plus a great lunch at a local restaurant . His knowledge on wines and area is superb making this simply a perfect day in a beautiful region of South Australia. I would highly recommend his service to a friend and will use him again if we come back. Thank you Jason and R&L you have created a great!
