This attraction is quite nice. The Boca da onça fall itself isn't that great, there wasn't much water and you can't swim close to it. However the rest of the park is quite nice with good places for swimming.. specially the "buraco do macaco" where you swim in a cave! Although I didn't do the rapel, I don't think it's... More

50 minutes from Bonito. Arrive at the ridge top starting area. Half of us went down into the valley by stairs (800+) and the others by rapel (pretty view but maybe not worth it since too controlled). Then, down the main stream and back up to the ridge to via a creek. Stopped in pools to swim. Half-way around a... More

Thank you for your appreciation. About the rapelling, we have a Safety Management System and technicals norms to follow and sometimes for people who enjoy more adventure and challenges it can become too controlled. More

This was an activity we did on our second day in Bonito and my wife and I joined 3 of our friends to go. We started out at the trailhead at around 8:00 and we were the first group to embark. Boca da Onca is essentially a hike to a gigantic waterfall (with a few stops along the way), and... More

Maybe we were lucky, but we had an English-speaking guide, and loved the valley and its sights. Found it quite strenuous, but then we are not young. Also turned down the rappel! And, like others, loved the lunch, though not much choice for vegetarians.

Due to the heavy rains in the previous day, we were not allowed to get into the water (river and waterfalls), but, even so, it's an impressive tour. We walked 4km, through stairs and trails, to contemplate the waterfalls. Boca da Onça and Fantasma waterfalls are really impressive and you get wet only with the water spray. We also saw... More

The place is very well organised as almost everything in Bonito. The walk is outstanding end the cachoeiras you see are great. Definitively it's worth. We are 2 families with 4 small kids (aged 6 to 10) and at the end they were exausted (and so were we). The lunch included is the very usual brasilian self service of average-good... More

This is definitely a must. The hike is quite long (a plus for me!) and you get to see a lot of waterfalls as well as swim in a couple. Definitely a highlight of the trip. You are free to stay on the property afterwards until closing. It is a nice way to spend the day. They also serve an... More

Walk through the jungle and stop at few waterfalls (cachoeiras). The water in some of them is shallow so swimming is not required. I highly recommend Buraco do Macaco, a swim under in a hole under a waterfall!

Though it is a long walk, the regular swimming (under beautiful waterfalls) makes it a relaxed and easy-going experience. The guides are nice and not in a hurry at all, but don't speak any english (nor does any of the staff, it seems).
