Was not disappointed - it's as cool in real life as it is in online photos. Plenty of room in the carpark and it was an easy walk down a boardwalk to the lookout. It's also a good place for whale watching - there's a sign that discusses the optimal time of year to come looking for whales and what to look for. Be mindful of the dirt road that you need to take to get here; it is fairly sturdy but some areas are rougher than others.

My wife and I visited this place during our recent holiday for two nights in Phillip Island.

The scenic views are spectacular. The only downside is the unsealed bumpy and dusty road from the main road to the car park for this place. It is several kilometers to drive each way on this unsealed road.

Pyramid Rock is a medium-sized pyramid-shaped rocky outcrop in Bass Strait, to the south of Phillip Island. There are good coastal views. I have seen it several times, and I wouldn't go out of my way to see it again. It's quite small and not very interesting.

We recently were staying in the area and went to Pyramid Rock on a very windy day and enjoyed the Wild atmosphere, it is a very picturesque place. Unique rock formation.
We left the car in the carpark and did the coastal walk to Berry Beach and back.
It was a lovely walk even in the blustery conditions, a good workout.
There are very good toilet facilities at the Pyramid Rock carpark.
Quite a lot of wildlife about, we came face to face with a Wallaby and he wasn’t worried about us at all.
Worth a visit.

Bumpy and dusty - that’s what the last review says. And that about sums up the drive. But if you can push past that you are rewarded with some nice coastal views and a terrific walk - helped if you go can one way and get picked up by someone at the other end. Luckily for us we were on a private tour so this was perfectly executed.

Missed seeing this on our previous visit but made sure to catch it this time. A short gravel track to the car park and then a easy stroll on a timber walkway to the lookout. Well worth the effort (or no effort really) and you get a lovely view of the basalt outcrop being battered by waves coming from Antartica! You get a good view of the southern coast of PI & a nice rock to admire! I felt sorry for the bloke living right on the edge of the road, dust swirls from every car that visits.

You have to drive along a dirt road to reach this lookout. As you drive you can spot some wallabies along the bushes if you are sharp enough. you have to walk about 5 minutes from the carpark to reach the lookout point. You will get to see a breathtaking view of the sea. Do take note that the place is windy. You will see the main highlight - the rock formation in the shape of a pyramid. If you are adventurous enough you can actually take a trail that will lead you closer to the pyramid rock.

On your way to Penguins on Philips Island, do make a quick stop to have a look at one of the most beautiful seashores ever seen. The sea washes the rocky shores of Australia with amazing waves turning this place in an amazing one. Absolutely amazing experience!

Be aware that the road into this site is dirt and BEYOND bumpy. I thought I was going to break the car a couple of times with how suddenly the bumps started and stopped. Once you get past this though the visit is ok.

The walk to the end of the island to view pyramid rock is nice, it has some lovely coastal views and is well maintained. The challenge is that as it was exposed it's super windy so I'd advise you taking a jacket even in summer time.

The view is lovely but once you've spent about ten minutes there that's all there is to see unless you're doing the hike to Barry's beach so it's a quick stop.
