A really good tour company, I have no complaints at all about their service, and the canyon tour -- I did the longest tour, 6 hours -- was beautiful and very fun -- I almost did it again the next day, but decided to explore elsewhere. My guide, whose name now escapes me, was excellent. I called from Leon at... More

The tour of the Canon was absolutely brilliant. Our guide Noel was enthusiastic, great fun and his English was excellent. We loved the stunning scenery and it was an experience like no other. We phoned ahead and Brian organised everything and met us in Somoto. We stayed with the Soriano family who were charming & very welcoming. The food was... More

We did the long 6h tour with Wintor, who knows every little corner of the canyon and made for a save and fun tourguide. Him and Henry made us all feel very welcome so we decided to stay there for the night, which is good value as well.

We did the short 3 hour tour with a 20 month old baby and injured mother in law of 65. Brian and Henry are very welcoming and professional. We arranged last minute and got excellent advice on how to tackle the trip and get most out of it given.our peculiar group composition( hire a horse for the oldest participant with... More

We are so glad we did the full 6hour tour! After a fantastic dinner, sleep and breakfast provided by Somoto Canyon Tours our guide took just the two of us earlier to be the first in the canyon! Incredible day swimming, walking, viewing bats!, jumping and seeing some of Nicaragua's hidden gems (both the canyon and jade found in the... More

We booked through treehuggers in esteli and did the 5hr trip. I am not a very athletic person but my bestie is. I found the excursion to not be very physically demanding in endurance but agility to navigate walking through the rocks. Swimming, hiking, cliff jumping and the stunning view was really worth the journey up. We took a cab... More

We did the 6 hours tour, which was great! Our guide Noel was very knowledgeable and made sure that we enjoyed the tour although it was raining. He made sure that we jump off the right spots into the water and it was great fun to explore the canyon with him! Moreover the food was really good and Henry picked... More

What a great place! My wife and I (both in our 50's) stayed overnight in a cabin and did the six hour tour. The tour is not overly physical, you paddle in the water almost as much as you walk. They provide you with old running shoes to wear on the tour. Bring your camera, the guide has a dry... More

We did the short 3 hr tour with our three children aged 7, 5 & 2. Olvin, our guide was very impressive in knowledge, focused on safety and did everything to make the adventure a good experience, knowing the kids would be tired from all the walking (about 5km to/from the canyon) he saddled up his donkey for our use.... We drove to somoto from esteli to do 4 hour canyon tour , and man was it awesome! We hiked around a mile to get to the canyon then it took some time getting around all the rocks before we could actually swim but it was so worth it . Uli was our guide and he was so nice .... More

Many thanks for your review. That's the second GoPro recovered in less than a week! I am so proud of the professionalism of our team of guides. They will always go above and beyond the call of duty. The other one was found in 10m of water! Enjoy the rest of your trip in Nicaragua. More
