    Fascinating
Really interesting. A very knowledgeable tour guide who clearly knew his subject. It might not look like your classic "volcano" but is still a great experience and shows you the forces that shape our world.

    Volcano experience
Reasonable value for money- the combination ticket is best at $15 giving access to mud bath and volcano. Tour guide very informative. Mud bath great fun, but very busy when we visited.

    Get muddy!
Fun for a small hike and getting your body filled with mud of all colors and then washing off in a hot spring. Great thing to do on a cloudy or rainy day.. A tip you will pay a lot less if you have your own car. It's an easy drive from soufiere and a fun one.

    Stinky but fun!!!
Very cool excursion!! Yes it stinks!! Get over it! (rinse your swimsuit thoroughly!!) Our guide to the volcano area was great. The history of the volcano and current status is very interesting. Definitely worth the short walk and 15-20 minute tour! If someone offers, get a guide for the mud baths! Our guide Peter made the experience so much better! Don’t rush the processes! Let the mud dry and take a good long soak before and after the mud application!!

The volcano is not really what you would expect. There’s really not that much to see, but seeing the water bubbling inside the crater-like openings was a little interesting. You had a choice of taking a 10 minute or so walk around with a guide that just told you a little about the volcano or participate in the mud baths. We didn’t want to get dirty, so we just took the tour. I wouldn’t go here just for this experience, but it was part of a larger day-tour that we booked that took us to many different locations. There were some local vendor booths onsite to do a bit of souvenir shopping too, which was nice since as visitors were not allowed to road around the island to go shopping due to COVID restrictions.

We visited here as part of a tour and found it really interesting. Our guide was informative and friendly, and I felt like I learned a lot. You can get a double ticket for the volcano and the sulphur springs mud baths, which I would recommend.

A bit misleading, if you have reached or driven through Soufriere then stop looking for the drive in volcano, because you're in it, the whole area is literally the caldera of the old volcano. The tour is OK but very short, no real need for the tour guide its just along a path and up some steps then back again(gratuities accepted) but there is no other way would get to see or smell the bubbling sulphur pits. Take a cozzie and you can cover yourself in some mud. Not a full day out an hour at best, but you get the opportunity to part with some cash to the numerous street vendors who pitch their stalls outside......

We have visited this crater before and decided to go back ten years later. It is still great to see. We had a guide and she said it hadn’t erupted for at least 200 years and is monitored. The smell from the sulphur can be quite strong. The colours from the different minerals are a sight to see & the bubbling mud pools.

The Tour of the "Drive in Volcano" is a MUST for every visitor to St. Lucia. The caldera is steaming away right before your very eyes. The tour guide will give you all kinds of information about the volcano. There are many opportunities to take very interesting photos.

Amazing site worth seeing. Bubbling steaming pools of hot muddy water. Strong smell of sulphur. Really interesting learning about the history of the volcano and how it impacts the land today. Informative tour from the guide. We visited on a wider tour organised by our hotel so we aren’t sure what it would be like if you visited independently but it’s worth seeing. There are quite a few locals selling souvenirs and drinks.

The only drive-in volcano and we got to first hand smell the volcano. It stinks! We hired a guide and she gave us some amazing information.

She also explained about how one of the guides fell through the crater, made a hole and still lives to tell the tale.

Definitely worth seeing if you’re passing through or part of a tour of our island. Really interesting and a must if you want to experience some of the sights St Lucia has to offer. Reasonable entrance fees. You only need around 45 minutes here to experience the volcano.
