Lovely spot and can often be very quiet. We came here twice with different experiences. The first time it rained in the morning so people stayed away but we came in the afternoon and it was lovely. Alas the insect repellant was essential. The water...More

There was no one else when we visited after the torrential downpour in Palenque. The road is good all the way to the falls but unfortunately it's used for local racing instead of responsible driving. Visit if you have time to kill in Palenque.

We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves as it is rainy season. This means that the water isn't as clear or clean and there is quite a lot of mud. However, we had a great time swimming and jumping around the waterfalls! Must...More

Had this place to ourselves one afternoon. Great clear stream with a few small waterfalls flowing into it. Good chance you will encounter the local troop of howler monkeys.

We arrived one hour before closing time and asked them to camp. The people were very friendly and despite they have rooms for rent they let us camp wherever we wanted, so we stayed near the water for $150 Pesos per tent. We swam early...More

This site is very well organised with lovely places to swim and do zip-lines. The main waterfall is beautiful with picnic areas to enjoy the view and a snack. Toilets are clean and there are eating places at the site, so you don't really have...More

Welib-Ha is literally a cool place. A must go if you have kids that are good swimmers. This place is like a large natural swimming pool in the middle of the Jungle. It is not as crowded as Misol-Haor Agua Azul and the locals have...More

From Palenque town centre I took a collectivo for 20 pesos. It was squeezed full of friendly locals and off I went. You get dropped off a 700m walk from the falls. The path is very evident and the walk is great. 25pesos entrance and...More
