Beautiful

There are a lot of steps, however, take your time, it's worth the climb for the pretty village and a good cup of coffee. The waterfalls can be seen from the bottom of the steps.

Magnificent

if you can, find time to visit this beautiful little village, locked into a narrow valley about 60km north of Burgos. Take the time to walk around and explore the cliffs and walks surrounding the village. Back to another era!

very quaint little village but avoid weekend

One of my favourite villages in the area. Besides the village and its waterfalls there are some beautiful walks in the area following the Ebro river deep in a canyon surrounded by limestone cliffs. Avoid weekend if you don't want crowds!

A Gorgeous Place! Do not go on Monday, though.

Be aware, only one (terrible) restaurant is open for dinner in the village on Mondays. We loved this incredibly scenic area and staying overnight at the only hotel. . . La Puebla. It was like stepping back in time. A truly unique experience!

Worth the detour

Really nice place, looks so much better than the pictures. Only 5km off the main road N623. This is also a very scenic road travelling between Burgos and Santander, and at quite reasonable speeds in most places.
