Excellent day visiting the gardens and the bird aviary. It was good for me to talk to the African Grey parrot who enjoyed the interaction and began to dance. Would visit this again.

It is a very nice castle located in a beautiful garden. Chateau is a "sibling" to castle Buchlov located above on the hill. The garden provides nice walks in green nature or relaxing shadows in a hot summer days. Beside all the marvelous trees and plants you can meet and see a lot of peacocks there as well.
Not only for tourists it is an interesting area, but also for just married people. Especially on Saturdays it is impossible not to meet a bride with groom or to see a wedding ceremony.

The residence castle is very nice. The visit inside the castle is highly recommended and it takes 45 minutes with guide. Around the castle a large and nice garden with a greenhouse and a small paddok for animals (mainly birds)

The castle and a park are pretty nice and worth visiting.. but they have a dark side. They free up a small birds paddok to visitors and dare to call it rescue center. The conditions of staying there are horrifying. Poor, sad birds (mainly huge raptors) are being kept in small cages like hens. They burn in sunshine with no escape. I had to intervene in Český Svaz Ochráncu Přírody Organizace, because what they do is a torture.

Nice exposition, not to long, surounded by a lovely garden. There is absolutely amazing garden shop for the lovers of fuchsia plants - they offer more tkáň thousand varieties!

Beautiful chateau, interesting tour, and great gardens. If you like parks, plan plenty of time to explore the gardens, most of which are just rather wild parkland. You'll notice numbers on many of the unusual trees. If you're interested, buy the little brochure at the ticket booth which tells you the scientific names that correspond to the numbers. You can get a text for the tour in English or a few other languages.

This romantic chateau is not far from Brno. It offers beautiful gardens and is just idyllic place for romance such as engagement or wedding. Exteriours highly exceeds the modest interiours so focus on the gardens and You will get yourself a beautiful day. Just make sure to come on warm sunny day so that You can enjoy outdoor picknick under the branches of incredible trees.

While the chateau and greenhouse are nice, you don't want to miss the beautiful garden. It is great to visit even with small children. They have peacocks running around in the garden which my little niece and nephew loved. There is also a place that sells great chocolate candy. If you get there close to the end of the day, you can get reduced price tickets just for the garden.

Buchlovice is a pretty town a short bus ride from the regional center, Zlin. I've only seen this zamek (castle/chateau) in the winter, but I imagine that the gardens are nice in the summer.

was amazed by the beautiful garden there. Was on perfect time, not really crowd so I enjoyed much there. Perfect place for a fairytale wedding! or even only pre-wedding photoshoot!
