We had a great stay (5 nights) in this cottage. Aleš a really helpful, welcoming host. He reserved bikes for our stay, gave us loads of great tips for where to walk or cycle, and even drove us to the starting points for our walks/rides on a couple of days. The apartment is simple but it was clean, cheap and perfect for us. There is a lovely garden with a bench and table where you can sit in the evening sun, and a very friendly dog!

My husband is Czech, so we visit often. We flew into Prague this May with our kids and headed up north to spend some time in the national park—Bohemian Cottage is the most comfortable, unique and truly beautiful place we've stayed in the Czech Republic. The hand-crafted beauty of this place, and all the furnishings and details within, is so delightful. Every detail, from the crisp white bedding down to the blue and white tea cups in your room, is chosen with love.
Don't miss ordering the breakfast option, made by owner Irena's mother. Each morning, an enormous basket of homemade goodies was waiting outside our door—fresh rolls, whipped cheese, jam, meats, veggies, some apricots or berries, tiny pancakes dusted with sugar, streudel, hard boiled eggs... we stuffed ourselves!
We loved the peaceful location and enjoyed walking through the farm fields into town for a beer. We didn't get to enjoy yoga or the sauna, or the guided excursions, as we had local friends with a car, but would love to visit again. I can't recommend this wonderful place highly enough.

Ales was helpful in coordinating the trip after we were slightly delayed due to Uber messing up. There was a slight confusion in what we thought was included in the package, but it was managed. We did the tour with Svetla, who was fantastic through the tour and accommodating to an additional request to take us to the boat tour after which we arranged our own transport. Highly recommended day trip from Prague. Just make sure you know what is covered in the package and that it aligns with how much you want to hike. We walked 15 kms in very steep terrain and it was as satisfying as it was tiring - but we also know we could not have done much more. Hikes in this area can be anywhere between 5 and 25 km, it's important to know how much you can do.
We covered both the Saxon and the Bohemian parts of the national park and the views from Pravcicka Gate and Bastei Bridge are breathtaking.
Thanks Ales and Svetla!

It was a truly great day out of the City enjoying the delights of the National Park In Bohemian and the across the border into Germany. Our guide, Ales, picked us up and dropped us back at our hotel and was a pleasure to be with both for his knowledge and company on the day

Ales is a great guide; very flexible with the itinerary to suit the needs of the group, and he clearly knows his way around. We were 12 relatively fit mountain bikers from Belgium that wanted to see some great scenery while enjoying a challenging ride up and down the local mountains. Everyone in the group was very satisfied and liked Ales for his friendliness and enthusiasm. Can recommend 100%.

We came for a short weekend - 2 adults, 1 6ymo and 1 dog.
Ales is great, and was so informative and helpful.
The trip was great and he made it suitable for traveling with the baby.
If you come with small children you should know that it's a studio apartment - therefore the kids don't have their own room to sleep.
The apartment is beautiful and the surrounding is gorgeous!

Hello, we are a group of 5 friends from India, who are looking to take a day trip to the Bohemian Switzerland National Park in late July/early August 2018. However, when I wanted to check the availability of your tour for these dates, it said that I needed to have a minimum of 1-8 infants on the trip to be able to book the tour. Is that a requirement or a technical glitch? Please let me know. Thank you.
