Heavy, difficult trail, around 8 km, 600 m of steep ascent, and another 600 m of descent through the same place as the ascent, which is even more difficult. The rest is the 6 km straight and flat trail at the top of the mountain, on an infinite plateau, from where you can see the Cerrado in its fullness! Without preparation, don't even try! It's foot-splitting! But it's worth every drop of sweat, getting up there (and down on the way back!).

Nice trek not very difficult and once on the top, you can enjoy great views and maybe the sunrise. Worth do it

This hike is a must in Jalapão. Try to find a guide to take you there before dawn and watch the sun rise from the top of the hills. Probably one of my best experiences in Jalapão. It is a tough hike, though, if you don't feel you are fit for a 1 hour hike.

Very incredible tour! I recommend finding a quilombola guide. Other guides charge 150 reais per person. The view is incredible, you have to wake up very early, but it's worth it!

A beautiful mountain range that could be seen from inside the car as we crossed the Jalapão Desert. With small children, we didn't consider going up the mountain but this will be planned at a future opportunity.

A trilha é bem tranquila.
