Do not miss this amazing town and it's surrounding area. Cuetzalan needs a weekend or even several nights. The town is great to explore, there are good hotels & restuarants. The sunday market is not to miss as well as the 'Voladores'! The waterfalls are a short distance out of town accessible by bus or taxi and they are beautiful with a lovely pool for swimming. Just go there!

an amazing place to visit! the walk to the waterfalls through jungle settings is a must in the region of Puebla. I enjoyes each and every moment of it. This is nature at its best and still rather pure and not visited by too many tourists. An absolute must!

We have a family vacation home in the city of Puebla, Mexico. On this visit, we decided to go to the northern part of the State of Puebla to see some different landscape and smaller city life. What a wonderful day it was. The falls are 80 meters high I'm told by the locals. The walk down alongside the falls is quite the workout, but well worth it. The beauty of the falls, the mountains and the jungle atmosphere is most refreshing. There is a nominal fee to get into the park (about $3 per person), but well worth it. Plan to take a picnic if you like as there is a lovely park setting. Next time, we plan to spend a few days in Zacatlan to see some of the other falls and to enjoy this most friendly town.

Don't miss out on this great adventure! This place makes you feel incredible! Connecting with nature's beauty at its best. I recommend to get there by noon so you have plenty of time to visit all three zones. At the entrance to the right you will have Quetzalapan cascadas and further up Tuliman Cascadas. There are even cabins available to rent. The Waterfalls are breathtaking!. I Highly recommend this place.

You can drive to 3 parking area's or you park at the entrance and walk to the cascadas. If you walk you need for sure several hours for the trip. The road is a bit like an off Road track..........
If i'm the next time in this area i will visit it again !!

When you get there, you will be able to take 2 routes. One with steps and one by hiking. I took the hiking route and it was absolutely breathtaking. They take you up top first and then down to the waterfall. Definitely a great experience and one I recommend to everyone that enjoys nature.

Just at 20 minutes from Zacatlán, this is a place you can’t miss. There is parking outside that you pay to the people there and then you pay (not to much) to get into the area. To see the waterfall from below, be ready to descend about 360 steps (plus the way back), but trust me they are worth it. The view from the top it’s amazing as well and there are also some activities you can do for an extra charge.

While we didn't spend much time in Puebla, Mexico, it was quite an interesting place to visit. The Cascadas Quetzalapan is a wonderful attraction worthy of the effort to go see!

My coworkers brought me here to see the waterfall. Felt like I was in Hawaii! It used to be a hydro generation plant in the past (has quite the history). Costs 30 pesos to enter and see the waterfall/enter the park.
It was about 1000 steps to the lowest point to the waterfall and a friendly dog was at my side the whole time (personal tour guide). The pictures speak for themselves!
