Had a fantastic day of nonstop fishing with JR and Delfin. We pulled so many yellowtail tuna, Bonita’s and Trigger fish. Was nonstop excitement for the 6 of us friends who are half of us were experienced fisherman. Just made cerviche with the Bonita and Ahi and shiitake cream sauce over basmati rice. Was fabulous ocean to table fair.

Whole day fishing trip with brothers Allan and Delvin yesterday. Professional, super responsible and friendly. We will definitely hire their services again, hopefully soon. We all went back home with a bag full of fresh fish fillet. We had a great time, thank you so much!

Man, What a BLAST! I had heard that the Bean brothers were relentless when it came to looking for big fish, and I was not let down. They seemed to have pulled everything out of their bag of tricks to make sure we 'hooked up'. We did a full day on their super fast, super stable 52' dual Caterpillar engine catamaran sport fishing boat and had a really fun time. They were easy going and very knowledgeable about fishing Bermuda.
A great time was had all!

Our family group, visiting Bermuda over the US Labor Day weekend holiday, chartered Paradise One, piloted by the able Delvin and Allan Bean, for a full day deep sea fishing tour originally scheduled for August 29, 2014. Delvin and Allan were a pleasure to deal with in booking the trip. The trip was booked well in advance and the Paradise One team was very responsive and flexible.
Hurricane Cristobal threw a monkey wrench in our direction when it kicked up violent surf as it traveled north between Bermuda and the US mainland. A couple of days before our fishing trip, Delvin called and advised that conditions might not be favorable for fishing on the 29th due to the conditions and recommended we try a different day, either the 30th or the 31st. Delvin worked with other customers to rearrange the charter schedule to work around Cristobal. Our charter wound up launching in the A.M. on August 30 -- under ideal fishing conditions!
Paradise One is a BEAUTIFUL boat, very large and roomy and clean as a whistle. Our group of seven was greeted at the dock by Delvin and Allan and immediately felt welcome and comfortable as jokes were cracked and stories exchanged. Delvin is quite the character and was great company for the entire trip!
Delvin is a master fisherman who competes in many of the local tournaments; his skill and experience was obvious by the manner in which he handled the 7 fishing lines with various combinations of uprigging, downrigging, and lures/bait. As they say, however, the "proof is in the pudding." Over the course of the next 10 hours we caught a total of nine (yes, nine!) large fish totaling at least 350 or 400 pounds! The catch of the day was a yellow fin tuna that easily weighed 90-100 pounds (this monster was caught by my sister's fiance Aurel and is featured in the picture submitted with this review). The full roster for the day was: One each of skipjack tuna, yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, great barracuda, and four wahoo.
When we returned to shore, the Paradise One team sliced up the yellowfin and prepared the best sashimi this writer has ever tasted, prepared according to Delvin's special recipe. If you've never eaten fresh fish right off the boat this is a must experience!
Overall, the Paradise One charter vastly exceeded every measure of expectation any of us had for this event. I can't recommend this charter more highly for a family, group, or business charter event in Bermuda! It is also worth mentioning that the Paradise One charter is co-located with Somerset Bridge Water Sports, which our family has used in the past for jet ski tours (awesome!) and other vacation services.

2016 was the second year my Dad has booked a getaway fishing trip for me and him and I could not have been more pleased with our trip to Bermuda this past May 28 - June 2. We fished on Paradise One on May 29 & 31 and had a fantastic time! We experienced a mixture of bottom fishing and trolling and brought in everything from tuna (black and yellow) to wahoo (which we entered into a Bacardi tournament) to pogie and local catches. The boat itself is beautiful and the Bean Bros. were super professional and so much fun to hang out with throughout the day!
Don't bother with a half day charter- get a full or multiple days if you can swing it! If we return, I know we'll certainly book Paradise One again! Thanks for a beautiful vacation!

My wife surprised me with a full day charter on paradise one in june 2013. It was amazing! The boat is very large and comfortable, could easily accomodate a large group, but we had it all to ourselves! We didn't catch a Marlin, but we caught loads of fish and would have cought even more if we hadn't spent almost an hour pulling out an 80 pound tuna from the abysse. My wife told them she wanted to be sure I caught just one fish! I'll never forget Delvin laughing "you get your 'one fish?' " as I was chain reeling in fish off the four or five lines they were baiting non stop. I was physically extinguished at the end of the day. But that didn't stop us from eating some of the fish we caught at barracuda grill in Hamilton where we were treated like VIPs. Delvin called the restaurant directly from the boat to make resevations. They prepared our fillets for us on the dock and we were off on our scooters for a great supper. What a great day!

Love it !!! Delvin and Allan are awesome owners/hosts. We went out with a few friends for the day fishing.... about 14 miles out.... and caught some fish baby !!! In between fishing I took a nap.... and then fished some more... and took another nap lol. The 'boyz' were down on deck pulling in one after another....!!! Awesome. I wouldn't fish with anyone else ... Paradise One is THE BEST !! You will get the most bang for your buck with them..... plus you take home whatever you want... they filet everything for you and even tell you how to best serve it. If you vacation in Bermuda.. do yourself a favor... rent a little house across the street from the marina called 'Drybrow'... and fish with Paradise One. This way you can just walk across the street after fishing and cook up your haul ! The village is perfect.... !!

We had soooo much fun out on Paradise One for 1/2 a day fishing with our family aging from 9 to 84 years old !! Our 11 year old daughter caught a big fat grouper which we took back to our rental home and grilled up ! So... we were nonstop fishing for about 3 hours.... we had great conversation, beautiful weather, calm seas, and happy kids catching tons of fish! I highly recommend Paradise One !! Super friendly, it's run by two brothers who are amazing hosts !

Just returned from an amazing afternoon on this fabulous boat , weather was perfect the two brothers Delvin and Allan where absolutely fantastic, the catamaran is superb fast and clean and well equipped for its purpose and expertly piloted by Allan while Delvin goes about preparing in great detail the rods , bait and tackle , there is an excellent fridge/ cold box and we took our own beers and soft drinks with us , we all sat on the very comfortable upper deck while the guys sailed out to the reef and prepared the boat for fishing . It is a powerful robust and extremely stable boat and big enough to handle the swell with absolutely no feeling of discomfort, our trip was 5 hours and we caught two super Barracudas which where stored instantly in ice and expertly gutted and filleted by Allan on our return to the immaculate dock that they use for the charters , our hotel chef cooked the fish in 3 different ways for us and I have to say the flesh and taste of the fish was sublime. I would like to finish by thanking the brothers for a truly wonderful experience and also for their skill knowledge and friendly manner , it was a day we will never forget and we will definitely go with them when we next return to Bermuda
