Old Trafford in West Manchester is a most to see when visiting England. toke a bus from downtown Manchester to the Stadium it takes 15 to 25 minutes to get there. When I arrived I went to the stadium store, I payed to get into the museum and to do a stadium tour it cost me £30 pounds. when doing the tour the guide takes you to the Players lockers, VIP rooms, Pitch tunnel, and conference room. highly recommend to anyone not to miss this unique experience when visiting Manchester.

    Superb
Did the stadium tour and was delighted with how great it was! Paul and Ian were our guides and they made the experience an unforgettable one. Packed with great historical facts and a lot of puns to keep the mood going. It couldn’t get better than that.

    Brilliant tour
So I'm not a man u fan but my partner is and this was a birthday treat for her. On arrival everything was really well organised and explained. First we looked round the museum on our own while we waited for our time slot to be called. Our guides were Brian and Ian who were lovely, Brian leads the tour and Ian keeps us all together answering any questions we had. Brian was so knowledgeable about the club he kept everyone's attention with his information and personal stories as he has worked for the club for many years. All in all I would totally recommend this tour it was Fab.

    Great experience!
Old Trafford is definitely worth a visit, even if you are not a Manchester United fan! The stadium is amazing, a guided tour is recommended. A piece of advice is that is you are looking to purchase merchandise, the football shirts were cheaper at sports stores such as JD Sports and Sports Direct. The Megastore was also out of authentic home kits, so just make sure if your football fan is looking for authentic!

If you do one excursion in Manchester, TAKE THIS TOUR!
All I can say is WOW! I took this tour with my boyfriend as he is a fan of English Football and I have just a layman’s basic comprehension of the game. It was a multitude of experiences rolled into about 90 minutes. Our guide was totally engaging and took his time with our group to show us about and answer questions clearly. I never felt rushed or that there was a “been there, done that” attitude. This tour was very informative historically and I really sensed the pride and respect within the Manchester United Football Club. The tour gave me a greater understanding of how it all began and evolved into what it is today. I actually decided that I would be interested in attending a live match one day. BRAVO!

    Get the Glazers out!
The store part of it was amazing, with really good value for merchandise & clothing. Staff were friendly, and security tight which I like too see. However, the stadium is in major need of investment due to upgrades & major repairs. Feels like the owners just don't care.

A sporting and historical tour - top marks!
An unexpected afternoon treat, invited to join a Stadium tour. Our guides Ian and Bob were really welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable - no question too difficult and lots of humour included as well. The tour is very comprehensive, you learn a lot and explore much of the stadium and as most of it is undercover, the usual Manchester weather doesn’t impact. The museum is well planned and extensive over 3 floors with displays to suit all age groups. Like all good tours it ends in the shop which is sizeable and as well as browsing gifts, you receive a free personalised certificate. Well recommended, especially for football fans or anyone looking for an unusual behind the scenes informative tour.

    Not to be missed!!
Took my 8 year old son for the stadium tour at Old Trafford and what an experience 😍 the guide Braham was amazing, full of information, and patient with what was a fairly big group! Informative museum with so much memorabilia from over the years, a well stocked gift shop and lovely cafe. All in all a top day out for us and well worth the money

Old Trafford Stadium Tour - 03/12/23
We went in the Stadium Tour @ 12:30pm on 03/12/23 and without a doubt, Ian and Eddie made it. Both showed amazing knowledge, historical facts, details and most of all they were so entertaining and funny. They really made it an amazing experience for the kids on the tour. Top notch men.

If you have one stadium to visit in Manchester, this is it
One of the biggest teams in the world , and most Historic stadiums. It’s a bit oldish looking compared to the Etihad but traditional trumps modernity . If you have one stadium to visit in Manchester, this is it. Recommend to stop at old Trafford cricket ground and take a walk through the neighborhood and soak in the older building and pubs around the stadium.

Visited here with my 10 year old son. Not the best experience, we have done stadium tours of several other grounds and this was disappointing in comparison. The museum was good and the guide knowledgeable. We were given hand held devices that had extra information and some videos on, however when we were told to watch the video that was playing the guide was talking at the same time, so we had to choose which to listen to! At times we could not hear the guide as we were spread over too wide an area. There were 45 people on our tour, far too many, spent most of the time waiting for everyone to catch up, found it hard to hear/see things and even though social distancing is not a requirement now, it would have been good not to be packed together with so many people. At various points our group were hurried along by the next group wanting to be where we were! It was a shame we did not see the dressing rooms but these are currently undergoing refurbishment. The tour lasted one hour but that was due to waiting around. We were not allowed to take our own photos in the press room, as they were taken by staff and sold for £10 each, this is the only stadium where this has happened, all the other's, that we have toured were happy for you to take your own in the press room, the others did however charge for photos with current trophies, perhaps not having any is the reason Manchester United need to make money from these photos! The tour ended in a large, well supplied (overpriced) store. Unlike other stadiums no shop discount was given for people on the tour, would have been a nice touch.

Came on a match day and there were therefore no tours. Being a big Manchester United fan, that is of course a letdown.

I made the most of my trip to the Theater of Dreams by visiting the displays that were outside, including the Sir Matt Busby statue, and the United Trinity.

A visit to the megastore is also mandatory and I was impressed by the range of merchandise on offer. Fans will be thrilled.

Massive rip-off, I paid nearly £300 for a “VIP” match day package from P1 Travel and food wasn’t even included. Paid £12 extra for a chicken burger and it wasn’t cooked all the way through so had to be binned.
The “free” tea & coffee at half time was a no-go as the queue was massive and we would have missed the start of the second half.
You get a cushioned seat to watch the game but there’s hardly any leg room (and I’m not tall so it would have been painful for a 6 footer!)
Save your money and just go for the normal £45 ticket in the North Stand.

I have been on the tour twice in the last year with my grandson. If you have been once you can go again for free any time in the following 12 months. Even though I do not support Manchester United, it is an iconic place to be shown around. Beware though it is a large ground and there is a lot of walking to do as well as going up and down steps. I must admit I found it hard going. One disappointing aspect is that the admission process can be very lenghty. You really need to get there at least 1 hour before your tour starts. Last time we arrived 30 minutes before and although they identified us and fast-tracked us through we arrived at the start of our tour with 1 minute to spare. So get there early as there are places to eat and drink as well as the museum where you can spend your time before the tour starts.

It’s been a while since I had been and old Trafford is truly epic. So much history at this club and this venue. The trip to stadium was easy by public transport with loads of help from metro staff and stewards. The tickets were clear so finding the right entrance was easy. The club shop was huge and had literally everything you could imagine with Man Utd branding although not cheap! Security checks were good, friendly, reassuring and rapid. There was food, drinks including alcohol and there was a happy hour! Best value for the day - beer pint and crisps in happy hour for two was £6 each. Loads of places to get program outside. Everything well marshalled and all fans were fabulous. Only bad point was metro teams did not put on enough teams for people getting away so long waits.

An amazing stadium with so much history and creates so much awe and amaze when walking through the stadium and even the exterior. The tour was really amazing with great guides and provided a tablet BUT did not rely on it or use it rather than doing a good job themselves unlike other premier league stadium tours you can do. The tour was really great with the guides providing good humour and had excellent knowledge of the club and the ground as you’d except. I think I enjoyed this tour more than others because it was with an actual guide which is my preferred way to do a tour. I highly recommend doing this if you are in the Manchester area and not to mention the museum is big enough to get lost in and spend an hour or more looking and admiring the success and history that the club has.

We loved our tour of the Old Trafford Stadium. It was great value for money and you get to see a lot of the stadium and the players' and managers' areas. I am not a football fan at all but even I enjoyed it and learned a lot. My partner who is a fan of course absolutely loved it. This tour was the highlight of our weekend in Manchester.

Really enjoyable tour of Museum and impressive stadium. Museum was very interesting with excellent archives, display boards ,trophies and video footage etc and gives an insightful look into the history of United. Fantastic opportunities for photographs.

The tour was equally interesting and impressive and the guides(can't remember their names) were very friendly, enthusiastic, articulate and knowledgeable .They told some amusing stories and really explained the stadium so well.

As a United fan it was a very worthwhile and beneficial visit and I would recommend to United fans and even other supporters of other clubs.

Out of 5 stadium tours in London and 2 in Manchester, this one gathers the most people. Ronaldo is back and people are swarming on Old Trafford. However, it surely is worth it by itself. The museum is not that big but the tour gives you a comprehensive look of the stadium and the two guides share enough stories to tell your friends afterwards. Definitely recommendede and not only for MUFC fans.
