17th June 2021. Went to Trafford centre for the first time in 15 months. We were asked as we entered if we had masks, On walking round we were faced with several people not wearing masks, people with them under their chins and over mouths but not noses. Although most people were observing one way system many were not. Not a nice experience will be at least another 15 months before we visit again. Rates are going up in Manchester after this not really surprised!!

Mask wearing is option in some age groups.

In general social distancing was being observed. We went on a Monday lunchtime so it wasn't busy BUT there is still a small element who make no attempt to social distance by ignoring the floor markings and not wearing masks. Can imagine that on a busy day it could be a big issue.

Excellent service by Freya. She recommended I have the ‘Pad Krapow Khai’ and I was amazed at the mix of flavours! Would definitely recommend to others the same! :)

Lack Of Mask Wearing By Many Shoppers
Jun 2021 • Solo
Numerous people in the centre without masks, including large groups of teenagers. Too high a proportion of shoppers to be all medically exempt.
I spoke to a member of the security staff, who informed me that shoppers ought to be wearing masks, but did nothing to challenge to people coming past him whilst I was near him without masks or having them hanging under their chin.

Covid rates are rising in Greater Manchester and this casual approach to shoppers safety is really poor from the Trafford Centre. I will not be risking going there again.

Racism, no social distancing, would not go again
May 2021 • Couples
2/5 - Gave 2/5 as it was salvaged by the interesting appearance of the mall and the availability of shops. Otherwise poor experience. No social distancing, many people not wearing masks. Food court was a shambles - you have to literally walk in circles for ages and it’s a competition to find a place to sit. Elderly female employee in food court openly racially discriminating. This was my first time in Manchester and Trafford centre really let it down.

Bad behaviour

I went to trafford centre after so long and wanted to enjoy myself. I went to food court and saw how biased trafford centre could be. Trafford centre is a place for all multinational visitors. So how could you put up flags for Israel in the food court.
Really bad and rubbish behaviour

shopped here sunday 23rd May 2021..... large groups of youths walking around no masks being worn.... picking fights with other groups...
hundreds of peole walking around with their masks either on their wrists or keeping their chins up....
lots of security and PCSO's not challenging any of them..
felt very intimidated.... and not safe at all..
visited Pizza Express... service was shocking..wrong orders being taken to tables all the time.... decor felt like i as sitting in a school canteen... everyone complaining to the staff about quality of food and wrong orders..
love pizza express but wouldn't recommend this one

If your vulnerable or not had vaccine I wouldn’t risk it.

Not using masks 🤦‍♀️ People that had lanyards on showing exemption that’s fine....but this was something else!!! Either no mask or a chin hugger!!! Even security walked past a large group and nothing!!! I get that some people can be exempt but no is challenging these people up to 30 people in one section!! A better system needs to be in place. I won’t be returning for a long time.
