A great little pub on the edge of the city centre.
It's been my local for over a decade now so my review is distinctly biased!
The pub was nearly lost through redevelopment and more recently poor management. Now back on top form.
Had a good night out with friends listening to poetry and Nasher (FGTH) who played a great solo gig. The main attraction for me was the gig and I had forgotten how nice this traditional pub is.

My first visit to The Coachmakers Arms, I loved it...such a relaxed atmosphere and very helpful and friendly bar staff. Lovely cosy rooms with proper fires to keep you warm. Such amazing history and original features...looking forward to visiting again 😍
Warm, inviting and with super beer. The Timothy Taylors Boltmaker especially, I know a landlord in the Yorkshire Dales that could take a few tips from this landlord, even though he's only been here 3 weeks!

The Coachmakers Arms is now under new management.
The pub has undergone a bit of a refurb with new carpets, decor and fittings. These are nice modern and clean and give the place a pleasant new look.
