A very nice atmospheric museum devoted to the writer Maria Konopnicka, who received the house from the Polish nation. The guide spoke in Polish and I translated everything into English for my friend. Period furniture, photographs, paintings. Nice cafe in the back, and a beautiful park.

I recommend a visit to this museum not only because of the rich history inside, but also because of the beautiful park and pond located nearby. A great place for photos as well as a daily walk.

Muzeum Marii Konopnickiej w Żarnowcu, just outside Krosno in the village Jedlicze. A very nice museum that shows the very famous Polish author Maria Konopnickas summer house. Sadly, all information is only in Polish. Anyway, interesting history and I compare her with Swedish writer like Selma Lagerlov and Astrid Lindgren.

There are more to see than we expected. Also they change the contents regularly and you wont see too many same things every time. Also it includes history of the local products and artefacts. Very interesting
