I was surprised how big the rooms inside were. Entry is with a guided tour. Our guide spoke polish only. The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Price was reasonable. The castle was abandoned for some time and is slowly being restored - which might give you a better sense of the sweep of time than a more immaculate palace. Tour took about 45 minutes.

Typical medieval castle. Not very large. We found it in a list of 10 the most beautiful castles in Poland. So, we went there with our children.
First surprise is that you can go inside the building only with a guide. Because some rooms are locked. And without a guide you can't find a difference between one or another room. But tours are only in polish. No audioguides or descriptions inside in any other languages. So, we had to join a group of polish tourists to get inside. But hardly understand a word of the tour.
The castle inside is quite interesting. Many paintings, furniture, etc. One room is completely restored and looks really amazing!
But in winter it is very cold inside :(

This was not the best castle that we ever visited but it was still worth the visit. It is in very good shape and historically important.

This castle is beautiful. It was very interesting to follow our guide and to listen to the history of the castle. The entrance ticket is quite cheap. I also like the area around the castle. So I suggest everyone to visit this castle.

Once there I bought the ticket and had to wait for the guided tour to go inside, and it was only in polish. However at one point, two guys, which I had seen had looked at me in the mines, were also there and out of curiosity asked me where I was from. After telling them I was from Italy, they were surprised and asked how I could understand the guided tour in the mines, to which I answered in fact that I didn't. They then kindly offered to translate for me, so luckily the visit to the castle was much more interesting as I could actually understand what I was seeing.

Well, that is now very big, but lovely castle. You can buy a tour to get inside or you can simply walk around, watching the views along with doing lots of pics- which is for free! There is a cafe there, so you can have a sit with a cup of tea/coffee enjoiyng the nature, as a castle lays in old park on the hill. We didn't get inside, so am not sure how much you can spend there and if the excursion is interesting, but 30 minutes around (if not spending times on drinks) is worth enough. Parking and toiletes are free, that is a bonus :)

Castle museum is amazing. Being a history lover, we really enjoyed our day trip. There were enough signs in English that we could read without having to hire a guide.
