The building on the site was previously a German headquarters and the bunker has been excellently redesigned and enlarged. The local people are justly proud of this area. There is a tea room and a long avenue of framed photographs curving downhill showing the various species which can be found. Also a well built wooden viewing tower an easy climb giving a 360 degree view of the surrounding countryside.

These gardens spread over a number of sites are certainly worth visiting. They are in their infancy but already showing what they will become in the future. They have been very carefully planned and set out. Their management team are to be congratulated.

Silesian Botanical Garden is a great place if you like to take rest and spend time on fresh air. There is a huge playground for child and nice footpaths for walking. You can also find a fireplace and cosy restaurant with delicious ice creams. Place absolutely worth visiting.

It suppose to be a nice place to rest and be with nature - this part is ok, but if you come with young children then wooden playground (that supposed to be a lovely place) is not a safe place - wood has a lot of splints and is not safe for kids

A bit disappointed here. You can't fault the ambition of the organisers, but you've got 2 disjoint sites, a hillside park with a fine viewing tower and currently an excellent outdoor photography exhibition, then a mile away the more botanic section feels only part complete, with a huge boardwalk that looks like its been closed for years.
