A great day out talking to the parrots!

Oh dear, what mixed feelings - as a parrot sanctuary they need to be admired and it is hard to believe so many beautiful birds could just be abandoned but this place needs a little time and tenderness put into it. It is a little shabby and, as said previously, I question that the aviaries are large enough. This was... More

Had a great day out. Loads of parrots to feed. Wouldn't you think they would get sick of people feeding them nuts all day? Quite a few talked to us kids stayed for ages chatting to them! Not just parrots huge tortoises, lots of Meerkats, llamas and tigers. We enjoyed the open enclosure where the parrots came and sat on... More

This is our third visit, but the first this year. It's not a cheap trip out and the road leading up to the park is truly nauseating, I've never driven on such a bumpy road, though this is out of the hands of the park. We first visited this when it was the Parrot Zoo and I think was much... More

We knew that this was a smaller park but you could very close to the birds & animals. You could buy food for feeding the birds & animals and there was the walk thro aviary. Yes, they could do with some new signage and yes, it was a little rough round the edges but it was a real place not... More

I visited the wildlife park today, there was no problems as some people had stated in some reviews. I could have taken my mobility scooter but some of the reviews were saying it was not suitable for disabled. I have been a couple of times over the past few years with family. It was great then and it was great... More

As soon as we pulled up into the carpark we knew not to expect much. Very uncared for and not what you expect when you pull into the carpark. The leaflet made it look so much better than it actually was. Plants dying everywhere the parrot enclosures looked very run down. Looked like they had spent a fair amount of... More

We had this recommended before travelling. Getting to it is a bit of a job as it's off the main roads and the road surfaces feel spring loaded so be warned to watch your speed. On the whole, this was a pleasant day. We paid just over £20 for two adults and a child and it would have been more... More

I would recommend going in the quiet hours - between 2pm and 5pm, especially if you have someone in a wheelchair. The paths are not very big and it does get a little crowded. The car park is not made for wheelchairs and i saw 2 other people struggling to push over the stones. Another poor point is that all... More

As weve recently bought a caravan in the area we saw the signs on our way to Boston and thought wow we need to go there, so last week we went with our small grandson. The leaflets and posters advertising the park are what brought us here so did feel let down when we got there. I can see now... More

Second visit after one last year which was ok. This time , it was untidy , litter everywhere , overcrowded & dirty toilets. Lots of cages unoccupied and some cages seemed overcrowded . Very expensive when the money obviously isn't used on animal welfare . Not a wildlife park , just a commercial project !
