Reportedly Australia's southernmost winery, this is a great spot for tasting and for lunch. In fact it may be more of a restaurant that owns a winery rather than the other way round.

We booked a 1:30 time for lunch and had a great table outside on the shady patio on an uncharacteristically warm (88 degrees!) summer day. The menu features lots of choices from burgers to shareable platters. We opted for a cheese platter with local l, some chili roasted almonds and the baked Bree. It was the perfect lunch. We also enjoyed a glass of the Sauvignon blanc and the sparkling rose with the meal.

Following the meal, we stepped up to the tasting area ($5 pp-free with a bottle purchase) and sampled the entirety of their selection from unplanned Rose (last year's fires tainted the skin on the Pinot noir so the winemaker made a switch-delicious) to Sauvignon blanc, Riesling and Pinot noir. Wines were nice quality.

While this place is on the bus tour circuit, they kept the larger groups segregated in the back of the large restaurant so we weren't at all impacted. It's worth the drive for the lunch quality alone and a peaceful and relaxing spot.

This is the best Winery/ restaurant I have been to in a very long time!

My partner and I visited Bruny Island Premium Wines on Thursday 14 April 2022.

The service we received was absolutely next level and the quality and flavour from the dishes we tried was just simply awesome.

We came in to do the wine tasting and were served by two incredibly friendly staff members, who knew exactly what they were talking about as they lead us through the tasting experience.

Then, next thing we know, the chef had came out to greet us and talk us through the menu, including his latest and greatest creations.

The 24hr braised Lamb just melts in your mouth and is beautifully combine with local pink eye potatoes, honey carrots and popcorn crumble (such a unique combination.

And for dessert we had the Rocky Road, which tasted awesome and the texture was very enjoyable.

These were all accurately paired with some very delicious wines selected by the chef and staff.

Thank you Bruny Island Premium Wines for making our trip to Tasmania such an awesome memorable experience! And a special thanks to the team that made our experience so great!

10/10 100% a must do!

We have never been here before, but it looked good online and on arrival the facility and restaurant looked great with friendly and helpful staff. For lunch we enjoyed oysters four ways, grilled chicken and the mushroom terrine. Our friend enjoyed the Cape Grim Beef burger. The cabernet merlot I had was excellent. The tasting room looked great and it seemed reasonably priced at $10 a head for four wines or complimentary if you buy a certain amount of wine or beer. The staff were very flexible and we really enjoyed this.

No free samples here, the wine tasting experience only allowed you to try a small sample and the only way you could get it for free was by paying for something more expensive. I walked away with two bottles of cider, the wine was too expensive and not really unique. The cider was also expensive but the cheapest option. Staff weren't overly attentive as it was very busy in the small tasting area. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

Good variety of white and a couple of red wines for tasting. Good value to taste your choice of four wines cost us $5 / person. Nice facilities and heating around their very large dining area. Good value for money

We traveled over to visit this idyllic spot for a late lunch. The kids ordered hot chocolates and the adults tried the Sauv Blanc and the IPA. We ordered the kids burger (not beloved - would have preferred a plain one), the lamb, the tasting platter and the pork belly. We found the main courses absolutely delicious and the wine and beer were marvelous. Above all this though, the service was exceptional- definitively the best we’ve experienced on the island (and possibly in Hobart as well). Our server was prompt, friendly, helpful and funny - we found her beyond charming and she increased the enjoyment of our meal substantially! We enjoyed the experience immensely and would recommend a visit wholeheartedly.

Stopped in for a tasting 4 tastings for $5 and if you buy a bottle of wine the tastings are then free.

So thats a good option and good value. The staff persson was friendly and informative. Though we did not have time to eat the food cooking smelt wonderful and people leaving were saying how tasty it was.

Bought a bottle of the Sweet Reisling and ususally Reisling is too dry for us. This is light and delicious, crisp and refreshing.

Just outside Alonnah off the road that takes you up to Cape Bruny Lighthouse we came across Bruny Premium Wines.

So we stopped in to do a tasting.

When at the door we saw the menu of items available for lunch. From that point it was all about lunch😃

In the end we chose the lamb tacos and 24 hour slow cooked lamb. Both delicious. Finished with a glass of their Reserve Pinot.

Excellent menu and specials.

BTW there is a wine tasting bar, but we never got around to it 😂

Highly recommended!

Our first experience here was fabulous. A cray fish lunch was not only delicious but visually exciting. A playful mix of colour, subtle flavour and interesting textures. The desert a ‘deconstructed’ Rocky Road was a melt in the mouth sensation. Beautifully presented, berry and Belgian chocolate mousses, fruit gels complimented with a light crumble and a flutter of gold leaf was pure heaven on a plate. Compliments to chef Josh and his staff!
We are sooo looking forward to our follow up visit.
